Hotel vacation rentals in Roatán

The place is far enough away from the road that most street noise is buffered by the tropical life. I was on the top floor, so had no one above me making noise. AC is nice and cold. Everything worked well. Great location, beautiful environment, friendly staff.

A great place to stay with nice, comfortable rooms

Loved our stay at Puerta Azule! Everything was as described and expected. The staff was great - helpful and friendly. The included breakfasts were always delicious.

What you book is what you’ll get. However, the staff tries and you succeeds in recommending the niche. It was quiet and for the room I paid for comfy. The only downside I would say has nothing to do with the accommodation. It’s the Diving. I’m carrying a licensed pole spear engraved by the marine park and the DM on the boat felt that he knew better. Additionally, pro-valves are common safer and easily converted.

Great week at Travis’ flat. Beautiful view up in the hills of Sunset Villas. The wifi was reliable at 75 mbps and I worked here with no issues. Even when the electricity cut a couple times, the wifi kept working off solar, which was neat. Host helps to coordinate airport pickups which is nice. Only thing is you definitely need a car or scooter - I mistakenly thought I could walk to West End from here but definitely not! But it was worth it for the views. I would come back for sure.

Relaxation. If you want to relax, this is the place. Convenient to West End (can walk or take the Collectivo for USD $1). Immerse yourself in Roatan's nature as you sip a lemonade by the pool. Meet both locals and fellow vacationers at the cozy restaurant gathering. Speaking of food, nowhere is better! The current cook is Jacki, a young, local Honduran who has mastered the art of flavor. And at a cost you will not believe. The resort owner will arrange local attraction tours across the island, taxi or car rental, and provide recommendations for your every need. All that and more, at an unbelievable low cost. I might even call it 5-star service, at a 3-star price. Some stay only a day or two, some a month, and a few spend their entire winter at this island getaway. Convenient to everything, clean and safe, great food, happy people - well, what's not to like. Once you get through Honduran Immigration at the airport, Guave Grove does the rest. RK January 2024

Great place at a great Price and the rooms Are nice and clean. Dont let the facade with the Big turtle fool you.

Only stayed two nights but wish it was longer. Short easy walk to the Main Street, private and peaceful. Staff was wonderful. View from the balcony and deck are fabulous for sunset.

This place looks just like the pictures. The view is amazing!!! Check in was easy. Even arranged pick up from and to the airport. Dalia is an absolutely wonderful person and chef. She was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, food, transportation at all times. Matt was also fantastic and helpful. Highly recommended and would be happy to stay here again.

La cabaña muy bonita la locación y el personal muy amable. Detalle es que tienes que buscar otra parte de playa para bañar en el mar porque esta zona al parecer está muy sucio y es difícil ingresar al mar.

Great hospitality with a complimentary breakfast. The pool was very clean and gave you an amazing ocean view. The beach club was also amazing and right next door. Very clean and cozy room.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and it was absolutely amazing! The location was beautiful, quiet, and we felt right at home. Our host was great and we had the most local experience, it was a true local feel, and a nice break from the tourists of the West side. All the guests gathered at night for drinks and dinner, and we met really awesome people. Can’t say enough about this place! Next time we come to Roatan, we will be back here 🤩

I cannot say enough about Sheri and Brian and their place. I stayed for 3 months. They did my laundry for me; they came by every day to say hi. They even cooked me Thanksgiving dinner. The cooks, Alicia and Anjelica and the two bartenders Walter and Alex were amazing, and now my good friends. I will be back! If anyone is questioning whether they should stay or not, DO IT. You will not regret it. Even the three dogs and cats would come by every morning for loving and treats. LOL I will miss everyone very much and plan to come back regularly.

From Natalia to Supi, they were outstanding staff. Definitely I will stay again. It is a hidden gem Airbnb.

El hotel está en una excelente ubicación, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas de comestible; frente al hotel se encuentra un acceso peatonal y vehicular para la playa, de cortesía entregan toallas y sillas para estar en la playa, la estadía incluye desayunos. Es la segunda vez que me quedo en el hotel y volvería otra vez.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were on the 3rd floor and had a beautiful view. The host was very accommodating and helpful, and also handled getting us to and from the airport. The advertised photos of our room were exactly as it was. It was 5 minute or less walk to West Bay Beach. It was a bit of a challenging walk back up the hill to our room, but I am certain you could arrange for the host to drive you back up if needed, which would be only a 1-2 minute drive. We were able to get a ride down to the beach with him once when we were in a hurry to get to a dinner date. I was on West Bay Beach a couple years ago, and staying at this location saved me 100's of dollars. Would definitely stay there again!

Love the location of this Hostel it’s walking close to attractions and lots of transportation in the area you can even walk by the beach to West Bay, Serkan is a great host and I highly recommend this place. To my backpackers out there what are you waiting for Roatan is a must visit place and I can’t wait to go back! Muchas Gracias.

Buen servicio

Catherine is a wonderful host. She responded quickly and gave good advice and instructions. The place is great. Everything is almost new and everything worked perfectly. The beds were super comfortable with clean, crisp sheets and excellent pillows. The kitchen has all new appliances. Nothing was missing. We truly enjoyed our time there. There are a couple of things that people should be aware of when considering this property. The village well off the beaten path and having your own vehicle will be a big help. Public transit not available, but you can easily rent a car locally. There are no shops close by, but local people do provide the necessary services (laundry, cooking, etc.) Be sure to ask about the cost up front so there are no "surprises". Also, you probably won't want to swim at the beach in front of the property, but there are better spots within walking distance. Enjoy your time there. We did!

Staying at Jeff’s in Politilly Bight was such a treat! The house is spacious, full of light, and beautifully decorated with original art. The ocean views and sea breeze make it so relaxing, and the bedroom is large, with a super comfy bed and good A/C if you need it. Jeff is an amazing cook—his omelets are made with eggs from his own chickens, and dinner (fresh fish, pork he’s smoked himself) is absolutely top-notch. The pool is perfect for a swim or lounging with a drink—don’t miss his mango margaritas! Jeff’s a warm, generous host, always ready with a great recommendation for nearby spots like Punta Gorda or the beach. This is a truly special place—highly recommend!
