Perfect home base for a college student who is in the process of moving between dorm and apartment. Very easy to find and clear instructions. I had a slight issue with the key code to begin with but the host was extremely helpful and I figured out how to use the lock. Very clean not too much noise and the view was really nice after a long day of classes.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting our son’s at VT, this was our 2nd time staying here. Great location and place is comfortable and easy to get to.

The location is every bit as peaceful as advertised. It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed (including an apron!), and there was obvious care throughout in what was made available. There are lots of options for comfort in terms of heat ventilation and air movement. The bed was solid. The apartment is largely unscented, which we appreciate tremendously. Outside walkways are lighted. The hosts provided good communication about route. We came in late at night and Ralph was careful to tell us what the more accessible route would be. We would totally stay here again.

Perfect location to Virginia Tech, only a 5 min drive to campus and restaurants. Located in a quiet neighborhood area with great views of the mountains and a large fenced in backyard. There was everything we needed for our weekend stay, including fresh blueberry muffins and donuts on our arrival! The beds were very comfortable and she has all the streaming services on her tv so we watched a movie one night. Ruth was a great host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It was so wonderful, words can barely describe how serene this stay was. James was so kind, helpful, and quick with his responses. I’d definitely book with him again!

We only stopped in for about 8 hours as a place to stay the night during our road trip, but it was a beautiful woodsy location and a very clean cute place inside!

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

John and Sharon were terrific hosts. They left a "Welcome" card with delicious muffins from a local bakery. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the lake and this location has the best views we have seen. The interior looks brand new and updated, tasteful decor, and very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed to cook dinner both nights we stayed. We were given access to the Tiki Bar where we sat in comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the lake. We sat with our coffee enjoying the cool morning, colorful Fall leaves and saw a mother and baby deer scamper across the backyard. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Staying here was awesome. Elizabeth was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed. It is an awesome place to stay!

Always enjoy staying at Stephen’s place. Private & peaceful and accommodations are very comfortable. Comfortable bed and cozy living area. Linens and towels are nice quality. Will be back!!

Nice studio room to provide a weekend get away. Minutes from the mall and downtown, will definitely be staying here again. Tracy was very helpful and responsive to questions

I stayed at Kent’s place for the three-day hiking trip. His is superlative! A huge kitchen with Bosch Thermador cooktop, free breakfast items, plush bath towels, very quiet and beautiful surroundings, etc. So far, this is my best Airbnb stay in the U.S. Thank you very much.

We had a great stay here! This accommodation had all we needed and anticipated our wants as well. Cyndy was very gracious and responsive. There were snacks and drinks provided which was a welcome surprise. Worth a visit!

This is a really cute neighborhood stay. The place actually looks bigger than it does in the pictures, and there’s a cute patio table & chairs. The neighborhood is walkable and super charming. The bed is comfy, check in was smooth, plenty of cooking supplies, accessible street parking, good AC, plenty of sunlight & well worth the trip!

This the second time I have rented one of Julie’s properties and they were both top notch! Julie goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The place was clean, organized in a great location and check in was a quick and simple. Communication was again outstanding, she was very proactive with questions or concerns during my stay as she would frequently check in to ask if there was anything I needed addressed (which there never was). She also gave great dining and activities recommendations to try when I had free time. If I ever happen to be in the Roanoke area again I will definitely utilize Julie’s lodging amenities. I highly recommend her to other guests/tenants!

We had a great stay! Very clean and convenient. The host was great at communicating, but we really didn’t need anything during our stay because she told us everything up front. The fridge and kitchenette were also fully stocked, which was thoughtful and definitely came in handy! The donuts were an especially kind and welcoming touch. Would absolutely stay here again! Very easy and stress-free process all around.

I stayed here for a long term stay, and I was very pleased with my stay. Julie has amazing communication and always responded a few hours after I texted her. She’s a very friendly and respectful host. The place was super clean, and it was stocked with everything I needed. Everything was super organized. The place is in such a great location. I really enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone that’s coming to Roanoke.
