Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Roanoke County

My family of 5 and pup will be back to Evans place for sure. It was exactly what we wanted and needed. We loved the charm and character of the home. it was centrally located to all the places we visited.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything in and around Roanoke is easy to get to from here, the neighborhood was nice and peaceful. I would certainly stay here again when working in Roanoke.

Great historic place with great new updates. Everything works well: bathroom, AC, kitchen and host provide many extra amenities to feel welcome. Easy walk to downtown.

My hosts were the best. My family was in town due to a family emergency, which when Leah found out how serious it was she even left a beautiful succulent for me. U don’t find that kind of person everyday that’s for sure. Everything was wonderful and peaceful there. Would definitely recommend.

We very much enjoyed staying at Connie’s place in Roanoke. It was clean and fresh with a touch of Sweden which was fun. Great host who responded quickly to our questions. Thank you!

Oh my gosh, been stateside and abroad using Airbnb and this has to be my FAVORITE place so far; pristinely clean, gorgeous area and incredible host. The beds were so comfortable and the yard was so large my toddler could play his heart out and it's quiet enough I wasn't worried about us being outside dealing with traffic. 20/10 recommend. Can't wait to stay here again!

Linda's place was the best. extremely comfy beds. Could drive to anything within 5 -10 minutes. Plenty of amenities. Didn't have to leave the house unless you wanted to get your own groceries. Linda supplies it all! Multiple TV's, great Wifi, wonderful instructions, extremely responsive. A beautiful, safe, clean house with gorgeous wooded areas and trails around for a serene and peaceful stay.

We have stayed in many wonderful AirBnBs, but this beautiful home was by far one of our all-time favorites. The views were stunning; the detail in the home was so well thought out; the entire property was so peaceful; we felt safe; and the home was so private, yet close to everything! Most of all, the host family were some of the kindest and welcoming individuals we’ve met. They are responsive, informative, respectful, and very clear about instructions as well as expectations. This was truly a memory for the books. The place was truly a gem! We can’t wait visit again.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Michelle's place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a lot of privacy. The surroundings were beautiful - the best part was the riding stables only a four minute drive away. Definitely go for a ride and stop by the petting zoo:) Look forward to staying in the future!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

Literally the best sleep I’ve had at a place not my home, and I travel a lot! Already booked another stay. Home was immaculate and the view was breathtaking. Thank you again!!

They were amazing to work with. Had to find a place on short notice. They were great! Too our last minute reservation and gave us recommendations for the local area even with weather conditions not being the greatest!

This spot was perfect for our trip to visit VT and other nearby colleges. We had a home base, could easily find nearby dog sitters for our pup, and we found the restaurants and stores that we needed nearby. Kate and her team were helpful and responsive whenever we had questions.

We were looking for a spot nearby Blacksburg for a VT game and on the way home to northern VA, and are so glad Brittany’s place was available. It was spotless, well-decorated, and had a beautiful deck to enjoy the fall weather. We appreciated the board games in the living room console and had a fun game night. The home is also just a few minutes away from downtown Roanoke too, where there are tons of cute small shops and restaurants. Lastly, we had some trouble with the automatic door lock while checking out and Brittany was quick to respond to assist us. I highly recommend this spot!

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

Described perfectly!!! You will get what you are expecting. Great home to spend time with family. Nice separation for privacy if you need it. BEAUTIFUL YARD! We enjoyed playing in the snow. WE ARE REPEAT CUSTOMERS. Last time we came in the Spring. Kathi was super helpful. We had some weather issues and she helped us resolve it with her flexibility. We are so grateful. We enjoyed time with our children and granddaughter. We played lots of games . Had groceries delivered and enjoyed home cooked meals with family! Close to many restaurants and activities if you like.

Cabin is perfect, feels secluded in yard with the creek running beside. But you are about 10-15 minutes away from anything in Roanoke. Yard is great for the dogs to run around and explore, with a fence high enough to keep our one escape artist dog contained. Everything was very clean and cozy inside. One thing I noticed that isn't clear in the listing, is that for one bedroom there is not a door between the bed and bathroom. Could be uncomfortable if sharing that room with another person.

Great location, close to everything you would want to go to. Clean and cute space. The only thing is the immediate neighborhood can feel unsafe at times. Two houses down was completely boarded up which looked kind of sketchy. However the parking space provided is 90% fenced in and we were never harassed by anyone. Had no issues whatsoever with personal safety.

Oh my goodness, the house was absolutely incredible! The backyard was just perfect for us to relax and for our furry friends to run around and play. Whether you’re staying in Roanoke for a long time or just a weekend, I highly recommend this place. We had such an amazing time that we're already planning another trip!
