Owner also has five kayaks that can be a rented for an additional charge. This cabin sets in the woods.

This room is a good value. It is close enough to Indianapolis yet peaceful, clean, quiet, and private. We are: 7.1 miles (10 minutes) from Indianapolis international airport. 18 miles (26 minutes) from downtown Indianapolis, 17miles (20 min drive) from Indianapolis convention center and Lucas stadium. 35 miles (52 minutes) from Indiana University in Bloomington. ~3 miles from I-70. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Off grid and private This is comfortable camping but no running water or electricity. There is a private privy for your comfort There is a large pond below the cabin with private stairs and a private dock. You may fish there “ catch and release only “. No swimming or boating for liability reasons. NOTE: this is a step above tent camping. It IS in the middle of the woods, we do our best to keep it cleaned. There may be dead bugs inside.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Great location for Covered Bridge Festival, and wedding venues. We live on site with our 2 chocolate Labradors. The guesthouse has a private entrance and private outdoor deck facing the woods. Entire living space is handicapped accessible including large bathroom with walk in shower. Cleaning is in accordance with CDC guidelines.

No traffic, no light - 2 minutes and you can get gas before you get back on the highway. There is a gas station, grocery store, post office and bank all within walking distance of the unit. No smoking or pets.
