Monthly Rentals in Riverport

The barn and property were very private. The long driveway and forested area between us and the neighbors provided a lovely yard for our dogs to run in, plus there was nice view. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the host quickly responsded to a question I had. The cushioned glider chairs on the back deck are sooo comfortable, when we were there, we spent most of our time lounging in the chairs. Best of all, there are three beaches within a 10 minutes drive, including gaff point trail on Hirtle’s beach. The Ovens Park with natural sea caves and self-lead tour is 10 minutes away. The Rose Bay General, Bistro and Liquor store is less than 5 minutes away, and the Lahave Bakery is about 20 minutes away if you take the Lahave ferry, which is one of Nova Scotia’s few cable ferries throughout the province. The hot tub was nice for relaxing after adventuring in the areas close by!

I am so very happy with my stay at this property. It was clean, welcoming, and had everything you needed. I had booked this Airbnb as I needed a location near Bridgewater for a work contract. It’s about 10 minutes or less from everything which is helpful. Property is beautiful and very peaceful. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

Whitecaps Cabana was WONDERFUL!! The location was super cool - up on a hill over looking the river. And on the other side of the hill, private access to the beach! The home itself is so sweet and well appointed. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the screened in porch on the main level as well as a glass of wine in the evenings. The upstairs is PHENOMENAL - chairs for lounging, table for eating, barbeque and sink for cooking/cleaning and a day bed with mosquito netting! It was beyond magical! Highlights: Came 'home' to 5 deer grazing in the front lawn. Sand Dollar beach is 8 minutes down the road. The free handy-dandy cable ferry to LaHave (and beyond). Highly recommend! 10/10
