My partner and I had an absolutely amazing stay. We are already planning to come back with a larger group. Beautiful home, very clean and the pool was our highlight.

A great host with excellent communications. The home was really well presented and comfortable. As a frequent traveller, locations with this level of homeliness are always welcome. Really handy location and the pool is a real bonus!!

We had an amazing 3‑night getaway at Maxwell’s charming property in Summertown to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The hot weather was perfect for taking full advantage of the fantastic pool, and we loved dining al fresco every night—watching the sunset and the full moon rise added an extra touch of magic to our evenings. Although there’s plenty to explore in the Adelaide Hills, we chose to relax on the property and enjoy all the facilities, including the new sauna (a delightful bonus, even if we weren’t quite sure of the protocol!). Maxwell was a fantastic host—always communicative and even arranged a private dinner from the owners of Marshi’s Kitchen, a local Sri Lankan restaurant that was simply divine. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing retreat.

We loved VineVale. The whole house was warm and welcoming. Large living areas, well stocked kitchen and pantry, fireplace and comfy couches. Pool area was like walking into a European villa, very peaceful. Outdoor bbq and fridge. Even the linens were colour coordinated by room. I hope we get to visit again - thanks Karen

We had a wonderful stay — thank you, Alicia and Sean! The kitchen was very well equipped, and the house was stocked with lots of thoughtful goodies. The surroundings were beautiful, with vineyards nearby and gorgeous sunsets to enjoy. The heated pool was a big hit with the kids! It was a fantastic experience. We would love to come back!

We were a group of 8 friends having a catch up and golfing weekend in the area. Driving up to the Homestead you knew you were in for a great weekend. I huge fan of the architecture and the era and we were all very impressed. Large rooms to spread out, large kitchen with all you needed to cook up a feast and a bbq outside. Beautiful lawned grounds and rose gardens. The 7 bedrooms were all a good size and beds comfortable. 3 Bathrooms (2 ensuite ) were great and plenty of hot water. Only had one problem we couldn’t get the TV to work ( the boys were disappointed couldn’t watch the football). Price wise each couple paid what we would have paid for two nights at a nice hotel but this option gave us all the room we needed to gather together and really enjoy the company. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend. I will be sharing photos with family and friends. Thanks for a Wonderful stay Nick and Alexander

A lovely property set in a beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Communication was excellent and we felt right at home. The kids loved the indoor pool which was a distinct plus. Food options were a little limited in the area but available close by. Definitely a property that we would return to stay at and do some further exploring in a beautiful part of Adelaide.

Immediately felt right at home, relaxed and comfortable. Description is very accurate and the check-in easy. Level and short walk to the main street which has everything you need: bakery, groceries, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, visitors centre plus some great shops. Great base to explore the Barossa and I would highly recommend Ruby’s for families, couples or friends. Lots of room and space for 6. Would love to return and spend more than the three nights. Rachel’s house was fantastic for a family get away. We had a lot of room for privacy but also so many great spaces to hang out together. We loved kayaking in the river and relaxing on the grass by the water and fishing. We also loved playing darts and table tennis and the provided dvds. We found the house to be perfectly clean and had some little extra comforts like coffee pods. Lots of towels and toilet paper supplied. So much space. We would have loved to have used the fire but didn’t get to this time. We would absolutely recommend this holiday home and had a great time!

Beautiful home, extremely well set up for guests, lovely rural views with some cute alpacas and sheep just over the fence. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed for a week of horse riding instruction nearby and felt so happy to be staying here in this gorgeous spot! We loved the kitchen and laundry facilities, and huge plus for the amazing hamper of breakfast goodies on arrival, as we had not been to the shops yet and has a lovely breakfast of bacon & eggs on first morning. Beds and pillows nice and comfy, and great amount of space in all the bedrooms and living spaces. Convenient to Meadows town with bakery, pub and cafes, and not too far from a supermarket at Mt Barker. We had a very comfortable stay, and would love to come again!

Beautiful location with easy access to the river frontage and private dock for the boat. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and was like a home away from home. Excellent instructions on where to find things or how to use them. Internet was a bit hit and miss but it forced us all to get off the electronics so it was great! We had a great stay at Clara’s loved the location, the house was very comfortable and peaceful and pretty well had everything we needed. If there was one thing that could have been better it would have been great to have WiFi. Traveling with our Grand-daughter this was missed. 😊 With family living in the area, Clara’s place will be high on list as a go to stay next time we are over that way! Thanks!!

We really enjoyed our stay, Anna was extremely helpful and her check-in message was clear and easy to follow. The house was clean and cosy, just what we were after! Beautiful location, so close to shops and coffee.

Great location and great size home. Lee and Randall were quick at answering messages . The little extras were great the chocolate almonds were a favourite. Even though we didn’t need them this time the microwave pouches for baby sterilisation could have been handy. We will be going back ! Check-in and check-out times were great .

We booked The Weekender to stay at for our wedding nearby. It was beautiful and looked great for our wedding photos! The main bed mattress was the best thing I ever put my body on!!!! Melanie was great and gave us early check in / check out in celebration of our wedding. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay! 🤍

We had a wonderful weekend at Nick’s place. It is a large house with plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and comfortable. Great location. Nick met us on arrival which was appreciated.

We loved our stay at Des’ house. All the provisions were very well considered and ample, and the house and garden neat and clean. It’s a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the location is close to shops and the cbd. My son especially loved being around the corner from the flying fox at Kensington Gardens. Des was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again when we next visit Adelaide.

Great home! I stayed there with my 2 greyhounds for 8 days while I was attending a hockey tournament. It was a great location - 15 mins drive to state hockey centre. Backyard was perfect for the dogs. Three great sized bedrooms inside and nice lounge room. Had everything I needed.

A group of 7 and the home was cosy but worked for us. A fantastic supply of information of what to explore in the are, well equipped property, sensational to have a hot tub and beautiful outdoor area. This place is an absolute gem. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property.

The place was good for 4 people, it is near to city so most of the attractions are 20-30mins far from the house. Gen was good with descriptions about the place around and the rules of South Australia.

Perfect for our group of 4 couples and 1 toddler. Plenty of space for everyone, multiple bathrooms, and an ensuite bedroom separated from the main bedrooms gave the parents peace of mind with their toddler waking through the night. We had a rental car and the home was easy to get to and from. Hugh is a great host. Very communicative and friendly.
