The Stables

Situated in Rowland Flat on a three-acre property, the stone cottage was the original tack and feed rooms for Mr Rowland's stables. Separated by a courtyard the stables are now the home of the host. The cottage is comprised of a truly delightful bedroom with an antique double bed with stunning garden views; comfortable lounge room with TV/DVD, CD/radio, books and games; light and open equipped kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, large electric frying pan and breakfast bar overlooking gardens through french windows (provisions for continental breakfast); the bathroom has both separate shower and claw foot slipper bath, toilet and vanity. R/c air-conditioning/heating and ceiling fans throughout. Access from the cottage to your own verandah with garden spilling over…serenity…the perfect spot for breakfast, coffee or bottle of local wine. Enjoy walks through our vineyard and paddocks and come across surprises such as our free-range chooks, wood fire pizza oven, an array of interesting seating and more. Incredible views across the valley floor to the imposing ranges or, bordering our property, the beguiling North Para River (in winter a roaring, cascading joy to behold or in summer the rock based riverbed allows access to caves, a geologists delight) and the birdlife is bountiful. Use of the swimming pool is available in the warmer months.

"The Shed"

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

"Topp House" Retreat Barossa

The little lodger: Cosy Room set in a lush garden

Coming up to the hills? Why not stay a night or two in the pretty hills town of Uraidla? This small self contained room has a double bed, kitchenete facilities, breakfast provided, a small bathroom, parking, private entrance and a small courtyard. Situated a pleasant 500m walk from the township, which boast the refurbished, quirky Uraidla Hotel, two coffee shops and the famed Aristologist and Lost in a Forrest eateries. The self contained room is set in a picturesque garden with lovely views.

The Writer's Studio, Barossa

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained. It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed. Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard. This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer. It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.

Old Brickworks- a quaint & eclectic 2 bedroom stay

Old Brickworks is based in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, just a 2 minute drive out of Lobethal town centre. An eclectic, cosy and unique accomodation offers 2 beds (sleeps 4), with a small kitchenette and lounge/dining area. It was once a old mechanic shed, which stands alongside the 3 brick Onkaparinga Brick Works kilns. The bathroom is via a undercover breezeway but separate to the main dwelling. We have a beautiful outdoor space with a BBQ and veggie patches for you to explore.

Just off the freeway and river near Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend. Ideal for the tradie working in our area with safe off street parking. Travelling through and want a river experience, or just a comfy king bed. Quiet, safe location, out of the town. Pets welcome, yard not totally fenced, pet cannot be left unattended. NO WIFI

1881 Courthouse, Studio

Built in 1881 in historical Church Hill, with modern amenities, the Courthouse is centrally located in Gawler, yet quiet, offering a unique, self-contained accommodation option, close to the Barossa Valley, Gawler main street and shops. The Studio is at the front of this majestic building and is completely private. Located within 6 kilometers of Woodside and minutes away from renowned wineries and restaurants such as Bird in Hand, Barristers Block, Petaluma, and Lobethal Road. Our beautiful studio apartment is positioned away from the main residence ensuring privacy at all times. The studio overlooks a beautiful lake with its own island accessible via a bridge.

UzuriBarossa

Uzuri Barossa is a fully self contained guest house with a blend of classic and modern design set on our lush two-acre property a mere 3 minute drive from the quaint little town of Lyndoch, the gateway to the Barossa Valley. It is separate from our main house so you will have full privacy to enjoy our cosy guesthouse. The name Uzuri means 'beauty' in Swahili, a homage to Kenya where my husband Kipi is from.

Comfortable Hills Studio

Beautifully appointed Studio type accommodation with over length queen size electric bed, unfortunately the massage function is currently not working due to abuse but we are working to get it rectified. However the pillow section can be raised to any desired height . All normal B&B facilities inc TV, Fridge, Air con, close to town centre and 30 mins from Adelaide CBD. Own bathroom, shared laundry... enjoy.
