A gravel pathway leads through a lush garden, flanked by greenery and vibrant flowers. A rustic stone wall gently borders the yard, leading to a traditional farmhouse with white walls and a dark roof. Towering trees provide shade and enhance the serene rural landscape.

If you want to see the countryside and meet the real people, the locals of Ireland and be surrounded by beauty, plants, gardens, cows, sheep, and friendly people. This is a place to stay. It’s in a beautiful area. I had the most peaceful relaxing week and Shannon’s home was beautiful.

Luxury home with private pet farm.

CeliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We all loved staying here. The children cried leaving the animals behind. The teenagers even loved the walk in the forest. We’ve promised them we would book and stay again. Edel and Kevin were just the best hosts, so thoughtful, even before we arrived and met them they were thinking about how our stay could be made better. We arrived quite late on a wet evening, the fridge had goodies and the fire was lit. So inviting. Thank you so much for a memorable trip.
A small outdoor seating area is presented with a round table and two intricately designed chairs. A potted plant with colorful flowers sits at the center of the table. The setting is surrounded by greenery and features a stone wall in the background.

what a wonderful place to stay! Full of history and clearly lovingly restored. Trudy was a great hostess, very welcoming and kind. This house is a gem, set in beautiful countryside, a real Irish experience. We will pass the word on and will certainly be back! Thank you Trudy! 🙏

A quiet country road leads into the distance, framed by trees silhouetted against a vibrant sunset. The warm hues of orange and pink are visible in the sky, contrasting with the cool tones of the gravel surface and stone wall lining the roadside.

Lurga Cottage

MadeleineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed for 4 nights at Lurga Cottage and it was the perfect bolthole for the 4 of us. It's in a very quiet location but close to the airport and to the nearest town. Catherine has clearly put a lot of thought into the cottage; it is very comfortable and clean. The photos don't do it justice. Catherine was very helpful and had even left milk, bread and butter for us on arrival. We'll definitely be back.

Escape to Honey Bee Cabin (Pets welcome)

Lisa SusanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We booked the accommodation at the time, even though it was new and had no reviews yet. We were skeptical at first, but everything was just like in the photos! Really a great cottage with lots of lovely bee details. The stove was wonderful and created a great atmosphere. It has everything you need and we were surprised how big the cabin is! We should mention that the bed is relatively small. Certainly no problem as a couple (as long as nobody is taller than 1.80m) but as friends it gets a bit tight. You should be aware of that.

Fabulous modern countryside home

CiaraRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Sarah’s home is an absolutely lovely place to stay. It is modern and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The large garden was an extra bonus for our kids. Sarah is a wonderful, accommodating host and every amenity was available. Staying at Sarah’s made a special weekend even better. I would highly recommend a stay here during your trip to Sligo.
