Ramson Lodge - with hot tub & fishing lake

KellieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful inside and the grounds were even better. I booked this for my mum 60th birthday and we all had an incredible time. All rooms were beautiful with a lovely kitchen too, even better the welcome pack they leave you. The wrap around veranda was the highlight for us, we spent most of the days on that with the hot tub, we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could really make the most of it. The fishing lake was lovely my partner fished and enjoyed it. The owner was always happy to answer any questions whenever I needed them. Thankyou so much.

Sarah and Aaron were great hosts. Extremely friendly and flexible , our kids loved chatting with them at the end of the driveway. They let our little boy fish in their big pond which he loved and chopped extra wood for me who loves their open fire and log burner in what is a lovely spacious house. Such a spacious and peaceful stay. Would absolutely recommend this air b&b and these hosts. No stress at all. Thank you

Old Oak Barn with Jacuzzi hot tub

JaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

Barn with hot tub, perfect for get togethers

LucileRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lively stay at Helen's, the garden is huge and is fenced (which was handy with a toddler), it has a playground and a small house for kids that our daughter loved. It also has a direct access to a field with two horses that were happy to be pet. The house itself is very large, clean, with a play room and lot of books and boardgames, and a very well equipped kitchen. We felt instantly at home. Helen even gave us spices we had forgotten and needed ro cook a dish. And of course, there was the jaccuzzi! It was the perfect gataway for a long week end. Would 100% recommend!

The Willows

Andy was a fantastic host and gave clear instructions on getting to the location and how to get in. The replies were also quick when I had questions to ask on the day and thankfully Andy was there to respond quickly. The house was in good condition and was clean and tidy ready for mine and my partner’s arrival. I and my partner had a lovely time and was a well needed break, there were also plenty of animals around the location which made it even better for us to watch them. Would recommend to anyone needing a little peaceful getaway for those who also love nature.

Bellropes - Modern Countryside Retreat Sleeps 27

MaureenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow! This house was amazing for our group of 18. We fit so comfortably - there were even a couple of rooms we didn't need! The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and the common areas were absolutely perfect for our large gatherings (which is where we spent most of our time!). The hot tub was a massive hit, and we have to mention the Raj Indian Ocean restaurant just five minutes away – the food was incredible. This was truly one of the best weekends ever, and the house and its fantastic spaces were key to that!

Beautiful riverside Tudor house

KaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

Romantic riverside beauty - Woodshed Letheringham

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A stunningly beautiful place!! Everything from inside to outside was just absolutely beautiful! Inside is decorated so lovely but we also felt right at home, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a little break! Location is great to explore other parts of Suffolk or equally just as beautiful to stay at the cottage and not venture far! The grounds are lovely to walk around as well as sitting out on the decking by the water which we loved!! Jacqui is a really friendly host, as well as everyone else we met, alongside her beautiful dogs! We felt incredibly safe as sometimes I feel uneasy staying in new places, and I slept so well! Thank you so much Jacqui, really looking forward to visiting your beautiful place again! Xx

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage, it was very cosy and homely with a garden that got both morning and afternoon sun. It's in a fantastic location, you can walk to the Thoroughfare in only a few minutes. It's also great value for money. Check in and communication were very easy and we would definitely stay again if we needed a place to stay in Woodbridge.

The Coach House, Melton, Woodbridge

OllieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We needed a base in Melton for a long weekend to attend a wedding. This accommodation was perfect for us both, and our two grown up ‘children’. The host gave clear instructions, and it was easy to find. It had everything listed, and more. Two en-suite bathrooms were perfect for us, and we could walk to the church in under 10 minutes. There was plenty of off road private parking too. The loveliest part was the warmth of welcome - a bottle of fizz, milk in the fridge, and nice biscuits. Julia gave us time to settle in and then came over to check we had all we needed. She was extremely friendly, kind and helpful and also gave us a flexible check-out time. We would strongly recommend this lovely coach house for a beautiful Suffolk get-away.

serenity luxury lodge

Accommodation: The caravan itself was spotless and well-equipped with all the modern amenities one could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. The living area was cosy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Bonus did not need to take bed linen as the beds were made up Facilities: The park’s facilities were top-notch. The communal areas were clean and well-maintained, and the on-site shop had everything we needed. The kids loved the playground and the swimming pool, which were both safe and fun.
An indoor swimming pool is visible, featuring bright blue water with light reflections. Surrounding the pool are tiled areas in orange and blue patterns. Large windows allow natural light to fill the space, while brick walls provide a warm contrast.

Brook Farm, Walpole

The house we stayed in was fantastic - large enough for everyone (six adults, one infant) to have their own privacy and come together for meals. Extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly want and need. Welcoming pack of wine, juice, chocolate, biscotti and milk appreciated. The heated pool was an added bonus. The spring gardens around the house were welcoming - there was a fire pit so we could sit out at night (with blankets). There is a nearby pub with good food and other Suffolk towns are easy driving away. Communication with Suffolk Secrets could have been better however, the owner was in touch with us directly which made things easier. Joining instructions were poor - the postcode takes you to the back of the property not to the entrance - clearer instructions on how to get to the property were available in the large folder on the kitchen table which is not much use when you are trying to find the house for the first time. Will definitely want to go back.
