Apartment vacation rentals in River Forest

This was my second time staying in Matt’s home. It is clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed and has many extras that make you feel ‘ at home’. I’ll be looking here 1st for my next trip to the Oak Park area. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Lovely basement studio in very nice neighborhood. Easy drive to nearby neighborhoods or downtown area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable stay!

Best Airbnb ever that we’ve stayed in. Super clean, everything looked brand new. Caroline gave us Helpful information and places to eat at. Are son loved so much, he wanted to stay longer there. We had everything we needed. The rooms were bigger then what it seem in the pictures. We had a great time !

Charming apartment! Cozy. Immaculately clean; as pictured and as described. The property (shared) is lovely. A great home-base for visiting Oak Park (has a vibrant little town center, amazing residential neighborhood) and/or Chicago. Walking distance from a score of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed homes (including several that offer tours). A quick drive to the heart Chicago. I tend to eat out when I travel, so I did not miss having a full kitchen. Comfortable, convenient and very cute!

Kendra’s place was fantastic! It was exactly as we expected, clean and well set-up for our arrival.

We stayed for 3 weeks to visit our daughter and her family who live close by. The apartment was comfy, clean, and well- equipped with everything we needed. It was only a few minutes walk to Madison St. with lots if coffee shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is very pleasant for walking. It was perfect for us!

This place was great for our stay. It was right off the Blue line which brought us right into the city. The space was clean and spacious for Chicago! There were 4 of us with 2 being full teenagers/young adults and we went all on top of each other. If I had questions, she was prompt with response and solution. The neighborhood is nice and walkable with restaurants nearby. It was an easy stay and that is always great! Definitely earmarking this one for future Chicago stays.

This was a great location for walkable access to downtown Oak Park and the El. Jeff was also an extremely helpful and responsive host! He accommodated an early check-in and was very quick to help us out when we had troubles initially getting into the unit. The space was perfect for our weekend visiting friends in the area!

Pictures were very accurate. Very comfortable space. Dan's was responsive to requests. would definitely stay again.

Great find in Forest Park. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to great restaurants. 20 min to downtown (without traffic)😉 All amenities provided and very clean! If you are sensitive to people being above you, ask first unit #2. It’s the top unit.

My friends and I loved Jessica’s place! It was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood! About 20min to downtown Chicago (also depending on traffic could be a little longer). Beds were so comfortable and the shower was so good with hot water! It’s a cozy place and we felt at home! House was clean and match the description. Jessica was so nice and so responsive, I really appreciate the great communication! We also had got to meet Jamie the other host and he was so nice and gave us great recommendations to restaurants! Overall amazing place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Seng’s place! It was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 3 kids and Seng went out of her way to ensure my mother’s 70th birthday was celebrated the way I had hoped. The street is busy but the place is quiet and it’s in a good location for both accessing downtown Chicago and exploring Oak Park, which also has a lot to offer.

Perfect location for a family to stay that’s close to everything. We did days in the city and a game at Wrigley. Very clean and perfect for our long weekend in Chicago.

It was a great place to stay definitely felt like home! I went for the weekend and the restaurants around there were great. They communicated very well when I had questions and responded with good time. Thank you and I’ll see you next year! :)

I booked this Air BNB for my girlfriend's birthday weekend and my surprise proposal! Ashlee was very responsive, super helpful, just an overall great host! She went out of her way to decorate the master bedroom for me with rose petals, tea lights, champagne and all! There were snacks in the kitchen, the place was clean and tidy, our group really felt at home! The vibes were everything, and so were the VIEWS from the rooftop!!!! Thank you Ashlee!!

David and his co-host were excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay. We used to live in the Bronzeville area and love the new additions to the neighborhood. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

We stayed with my family for 3 days n loved the place it's ambience, cleanliness, very well equipped with all the necessities.....this place definitely feels like home and the hosts are very kind and quick with there response. Wherever in future I am coming to chicago shall book this place.

We had a great stay at this apartment in Lincoln Park. The view was excellent, and the building amenities were a nice bonus. The location was convenient too--Whole Foods was right across the street, with other shops like REI nearby. It was easy to get downtown and explore other parts of Lincoln Park. We were traveling with a toddler and a newborn, and the host helped by providing a pack 'n play. Communication was clear and timely. Overall, a smooth experience.

Mariam was an amazing host and very communicative with us throughout our stay to ensure check in went smooth and to let us know if we needed anything. The place was just like the pictures and accommodated our bachelorette party perfectly! Plenty of beds and space for everyone! (Party of 10!) The area had plenty of free street parking and a 2 car garage which was very convenient for our stay! Overall we loved our stay and had a great time playing games and enjoying the jacuzzi and patio! Thank you Mariam you were amazing!

Incredible place! Location was perfect with easy access to public transportation and great food. Host recommendations were immaculate and responsive+kind. Plenty of extra blankets pillows and towels, the jacuzzi was really nice, and the bathrooms were spotless. Very easy check in and check out process. Had almost no problems with any amenities. The smart thermostat did keep setting itself to 75 degrees or more during the night even after we set it low before sleep. Quite uncomfortable to sleep through. And the listing stated 5 beds with 2 air mattresses but there was only 1 air mattress, making a total of 4 beds. Not a huge problem but good to know for anyone who needs all 5, we didn’t. Water pressure in one shower was not great and the other drained slowly. Also some areas were a little dusty but again it was fine. Overall, this was a really really great experience and apartment. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our trip!
