Apartment vacation rentals in Cook County

This is a charming and very comfortable unit. All the amenities are thoughtful and more generous than most other AirBNBs that I’ve stayed. We found the location very convenient to family and Northwestern U, and even getting downtown. The unit was spotless, clean and organized. And exceeded our expectations. Being able to park in the garage was a huge benefit for us. We had a busy schedule with leaving in the morning and not getting back until later evening. It was so nice not to have to search for street parking and not have that worry. We very much enjoyed our stay. This will be our “place” when we return. Elizabeth

Leo and Alex’s place was very nice and it looked exactly like the pictures. It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station, which was a HUGE plus because it took you straight into the city. The neighborhood around it wasn’t bad for city standards, but was a little old and had a pretty high cop presence. There’s free street parking which was easy to find every day as long as you stay near the front side of the building. We did have an issue with the shower, but we told them and they quickly checked it out and fixed it. Another issue is that the people upstairs walk very loudly and will make noise all night, but that is out of the host’s control, just something to note. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Leo and Alex’s place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago!

Our group had a wonderful stay at this listing! The host, Carmen, was very responsive and informative with answering our questions. The property itself was easy to locate with and the unit very spacious and nicely decorated.

It was easy to park on the street directly in-front of the house and he gave us a parking pass. It is exactly as described and we enjoyed our 2 day stay there. Don't pass it up

Loved being just a couple blocks from the Western Pink Line station and bus stops both north-south and east-west.

Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Very walkable. Place had everything I needed for the stay. Will definitely return if I’m ever in the area again.

This cute home is situated in a nice neighborhood and was clean when we arrived. Tiffany was helpful and left great instructions. We really appreciated it!

Secluded neighborhood with great access to the beach at Lake Michigan. I felt like I had the whole lake to myself.

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! There is no way I/we can do a review of Elizabeth's beautiful apartment in just 1,000 characters. Met Elizabeth personally, made a wonderful connection. It's the most awesome airbnb we've ever stayed at. The apartment has been beautifully remodeled. As a retired general contractor, I was very impressed. The neighborhood is fantastic; great for walking, shopping, and there are restaurants galore. The location is fantastic for touring Chicago. The neighborhood is beautiful with lovely architecture and interesting shops. There are lots of families; couples walking, biking, babies-buggying. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood after a walk to dinner or lunch. The bed/bedding is very comfortable and we slept very well. Great temp control, lots of windows, and a 65"flat screen TV. The bathroom is large and airy with a walk-in shower. The unit is very quiet, with dual-pane windows and black-out shades for sleeping in late. Stay here for the best Chicago experience.

It was actually pretty nice and it felt very comfortable and soothing. I loved the kitchen when I saw it. And the bed was very comfortable. i was able to get a nice sleep.

Spacious apartment with fun extras (puzzle, yoga mat, etc.)! It was easy-to-find and well-stocked with supplies, including thoughtful items for our use. It was clean and comfortable; we didn't use the kitchen at all as it was a very quick stay. The hosts are cognizant of the noise from the train and highway, and provide earplugs, sound machines, blackout shades, a fan, etc., to help ensure guests can sleep well. The local recommendations were great. Downtown Oak Park is about a 10-minute drive; we appreciated the ability to walk 5 minutes to a nice café or restaurant.

We stayed on the third floor of the complex and enjoyed Matthew's attention to detail. He gave a lot of thought to all components of his property.

We came for our daughter’s graduation and stayed a few extra days to tour the city. This place was perfectly located for both occasions. It was much more spacious than we expected, and everything was very clean. We especially appreciated the fresh towels and beddings. Our only wish is that the beds were a bit larger, especially the double bed, which would be more comfortable for a couple if it were at least a queen size. That said, the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay - definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences!

We stayed with my family for 3 days n loved the place it's ambience, cleanliness, very well equipped with all the necessities.....this place definitely feels like home and the hosts are very kind and quick with there response. Wherever in future I am coming to chicago shall book this place.

David and his co-host were excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay. We used to live in the Bronzeville area and love the new additions to the neighborhood. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Great place nice views , communication with host very smooth !

The host is very helpful. The house next door seems to be abandoned; therefore, there is a lot of trash and broken glass on the floor next to this building. The place is very chic and fun. My favorite part was the bath bar and back yard. There are no dishes only cups and coffee mugs no paper towels and no plates. I liked the fact that the host asked questions before approving our reservation. I will definitely reserve again.

Stay was great and Mariam was a super host. The space was exactly as pictured and all the games were a blast. Miriam even checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything we need and that we were having a good time. For sure would stay here again.
