Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia

A true Airbnb experience - that doesn’t typically exist anymore. Great outdoor space as well which is very quiet and makes you forget you’re in a city. Beautiful location for visiting Philadelphia and a very walkable to Rittenhouse square and the river. The comm from JJ was easy and the checkin process was a breeze.

I spend much of my year in hotels, so when I’m looking for an Air BnB I really value a place that feels comfortable, welcoming and is a space I am comfortable to just hang out - Lynn’s beautiful house in Narberth is all of the above. We were looking for a place to stay for our daughter’s graduation from nearby Bryn Mawr college. Lynn’s place is charming - spacious, great artwork, plants and we’re pet people so loved meeting her cats, birds and fish. It’s hard to find good AirBnB rentals in this general area and this one is a jewel - the neighborhood is great - residential, lots of young families, safe, green and leafy and with downtown Narberth on the doorstep. Lynn was super responsive despite being in Vietnam during our stay, she had connected us with her neighbor who was not just a helpful resource but would check-in on us via text during our stay. Parking was very easy as Lynn has a couple of street spaces right outside and the street is quiet. 5/5 would stay again!

Reed is a phenomenal host and a great guy. It felt like I was staying at a family friend. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into making his guests feel welcome and comfortable. He goes well above and beyond. He is super quick to respond to messages. He had great recommendations for all things Philly. I wish I could've stayed longer.

I had a great stay at Rebecca’s charming and warm home. It was beautifully decorated, and I loved the colors she used. The house was very clean, which I appreciated as someone with high standards. The keypad was easy to use, and everything was simple to find. It’s about 30 minutes by Uber to Rittenhouse Square, so the rides added up, but the stay was much more affordable than nearby hotels. The home is across from the high school Will Smith and Wilt Chamberlain attended, which was a fun detail. I did feel like I stood out a bit in the neighborhood and stayed aware of my surroundings after hearing some sirens, but I had no issues and everyone I met was friendly. Just note that you’ll probably need to Uber for food.

I really enjoyed my time staying with Shannon. The house was beautiful and located in a really nice part of town. Shannon was very accommodating and everything was how it was described. I would absolutely stay again if I ever find myself coming back to Philadelphia

Our original reservation was canceled the day of check-in and I was in a panic, thanks to Kay she was able to accommodate us at a last minute booking so that our Thanksgiving holiday trip wouldn’t be ruined. Everything was as listed and we definitely enjoyed our stay. Kay even called us to make sure we all got checked in safely. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This place is amazing for a night stay! Firstly, the host was very responsive. I was sent clear rules and requirements for this place. Very clear and direct. This is an apartment in a quiet neighborhood and the whole unit is very quiet. It made sense they also expect you to be quiet in their place. The whole neighborhood was so quiet that when a car drove by you could clearly hear it. The room was very spacious. More than enough room to stretch. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows were provided. A towel in the bedroom. Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom. Very clean throughout the place. This might not be the place if you don’t bring a car and expect to just walk around the corner and find all the attractions, but to me it was everything I could ever ask for. Very clear instructions. Very easy communication. Will stay here again :)

This place is a gem. It is comfortable, stylish and has the best private rooftop around. We would love to return! The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Here’s a review for the Philly apt: Absolutely loved our stay at this South Street gem in Philly! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive—any questions we had were answered promptly and thoroughly, which made everything so easy and stress-free. One of the biggest perks was the dedicated parking spot—an absolute lifesaver in this part of the city! We felt completely at ease thanks to the apartment’s alarm system, which added an extra layer of comfort and security during our stay. The place itself was spotless and cozy, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals at home—it truly felt like a home away from home. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into setting up the space for guests. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Philly—you won’t find a better combination of location, amenities, and hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again!

Booked Sienna's place to accommodate a relative visiting for a family event. She was very comfortable there and happy not to have to navigate the endless stairs in our home. We live nearby so obviously love the neighborhood and knew the home because my kids are very jealous of all of their swings :-)

Rob & Amanda's place was exactly as described with no surprises. They were clear on the steep steps involved in getting to the 2nd floor living area as well as the 3rd floor bedrooms. They even reached out immediately after booking to be sure it would not be a problem. The apartment was clean and the board/card games were appreciated.

Great place. Very nice and spacious apartment. Very Comfortable. Walking distance to bus route to take you into the city center. Host was very responsive and friendly.

We had a great weekend at Jacob's place! We attended concerts at the sports complex area and this was only about a ten minute uber. Very clean and inviting, looked exactly like the pictures listed. Area is definitely much quieter than other places I have stayed. Parking was never an issue, each day we were able to leave and come back to the same spot out front. Jacob was very quick to respond to any message I sent him. Would definitely stay here again!

I lived with Steve's family for a long period and I have no words to describe how beautiful my experience was. Very friendly, respectful, amazing family. The house is clean and secured with the fire system. Very supportive family for those who study English as a second language. They provide free trips to explore the city and rural areas every now and then. Personally, every time I visit Philly, Steve's house is my first choice, because of how welcome and kind they are. I wold really recommend this place. Si was very reponsive and the place is really nice. We visited Philly for my daughter's graduation which was located about 15 minutes away. This is a new modern apartment and the sheets were very clean and new. Also the bathroom was clean with all the amenities like shampoo, soap, conditioner and lotion and toothpaste. The kitchen also has lots of teas and good coffee maker. One drawback is that there is no ensuite bathroom for the primary bedroom and stairs are narrow walkup. The parking spot is also just round the corner and paid for. The neighbourhood seemed safe at night but streets are very narrow so was good to have a large parking lot provided. We were also provided some $ credit to use at the Taylor's restaurant below and the food was not good - the burger was over done and the breakfast burrioto was cold when it arrived, the begal was not really a begal but an English muffin of sorts. The coffee and chicken sandwitch was good.

Marcia is nice, friendly, and responsive. The place is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The place is close to transit stations (a regional rail station, a few bus stops, and a trolley station). There're several stores and restaurants close to the the rail station. The neighborhood is peaceful. In all, during my stay, I felt at home, and would like to stay again if I have a chance!

We have stayed with Jo-Ann several times, since we have a recurring event in this area and she has been extremely friendly without being overbearing and very flexible and accommodating each time. We will be happy to stay with her in the future.

We loved our stay at James and Dorothea’s place! Their bed & breakfast is gorgeous inside and out! The hosts made us feel right at home in luxurious accommodations, a hard balance to achieve, and did so expertly. Breakfast was more than enough and delicious every day, and Dorothea took extra care to accommodate my delicate gut with the fruits I can eat and gluten-free bread, tortillas and waffles. I loved walking my dog and seeing the horses every morning. This was a fantastic, romantic get away for my husband and me, well-priced, and the first Air B&B I feel I will definitely return to. Thank you, thank you for opening your home to visitors. We loved it!

What a great find! JoAnn is a brilliant host and makes everything so easy. Her home is perfectly located in a residential area just a few blocks from the village and university. This is a real BnB, where she makes a beautiful breakfast for you, rare these days. I found the bed to be perfect. The room was just what I needed, with my own air control and work space, I had everything I need. This place is a gem. Book it.

Molly and Dan are fantastic people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like a party of the household. The house is full of warmth and charm found in antiquity. They’re black cat was super friendly. Would 100% recommend a stay at the James Matthew’s house. Beautiful garden, private covered porch, and so many snacks!!

Amazing stay, wonderful hosts. Every amenity including healthy snack options like fresh fruit, milk, high protein yogurt and seltzer h2o.Delicious muffins at check in. Spacious and immaculate. Furniture that meets all the family needs. Everything is clearly labeled. You feel comfy and welcome. I would come back again. This would be wonderful for an extended stay. As a mom it made my life so much easier. Care and thought creates an environment to meet every need.

I had a lovely stay in Jo-Ann's clean and comfortable home. I was in Swarthmore for a reunion event, and appreciated that I was only a short walk from both the Swarthmore "Ville", which now has a nice selection of restaurants and a farmer's market on weekends, as well as the Swarthmore College campus and the SEPTA station. My room was immaculate and the beds very comfortable. Jo-Ann offer's a lovely breakfast spread and excellent coffee. She was very helpful and responsive to my questions, and the keypad entry made it easy to come and go. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to stay here again!

Molly and Dan were nice people and kind to talk to. Their place was cute and clean, we loved the little extras and enjoyed meeting their kitty. The place was easy to find and close to the train. Thank you for sharing your historic home with us. We really enjoyed our stay!
