Monthly Rentals in Risdon Vale

Maggie's place was great. We stayed for 2weeks visiting our friends in Hobart and it was a great base for us. Plenty of room and amenities, the place was very comfortable. We liked that it had a heat/AC pump in the lounge and an additional electric heater and electric blankets in the bedroom + a fan for warm nights. The house is old and drafty but the heaters keep it warm and cosy. Everything was very clean and comfortable, we had no issues. Area was great, it's a short 5-10min to supermarkets and bus stops. Bus into the CBD is about 20mins. We appreciated the place came stocked with tea+coffee plus cooking essentials. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again on our next visit.

Beautiful cosy place to stay, with everything you may need plus a stunning view of Hobart, and if you're lucky you get to see Yellow-tailed black cockatoos just outside . Easy enough to commute (taxi , uber , hired card 10-15mim to Salamanca's Place in the city). Wendy and Harry were super kind . Amazing hosts!!!

We loved staying at the ModPod because it was private, quiet, and cozy, and our host made us feel very welcome. It had everything we needed and the bed was warm and comfortable which is important for us. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and it’s convenient to pop in and out of Hobart. We highly recommend Jill and the ModPod and will tell our friends and definitely stay again when we’re next visiting Tasmania.
