The attention was excellent, we were given clear instructions, the place was clean, it is close to the train station and the artisan market. Best of all, breakfast, served from 5am and everything is very rich.

Great option if you need the basics for an overnight stay on your way to Machupichu. Attentive, great location, cleanliness, accessibility. 10/10 :)

Marias cottage is in an amazing location - it's very peaceful and a 15minute walk to Ollantaytampo. It has basic cooking facilities with a great two burner stove. There's no fridge. There is oil, salt, sugar etc. The bedrooms are comfy and spacious with plenty of blankets and a little heater. The bathroom is clean and has hot water but water pressure is a little low. The living area is a beautiful space. Around the house there are some nice walks. All in all a very positive experience- Maria is a lovely host.

This place was absolutely beautiful. About 45-60 minutes walk from aguas calientes, it is surrounded by beautiful nature, a waterfall, and a botanical garden that are well worth the visit. The walk from aguas calientes is beautiful too, although perhaps a little bit scary for some as it is walking along a narrow path beside active train tracks. Erwin and his mother were both very nice, providing meals at a low cost and answering all questions. Some of the units are standalone cabins, others are adjacent to neighboring rooms which I was unaware of. Highly recommend

From guiding you to arrive without a hitch, to giving you tips on where to buy fresh foods like bread or how to get around the city. Their attention and warmth really make a difference. Without a doubt, this Airbnb is a gem in Ollantaytambo, a place that I would recommend 100% for those looking for comfort and tranquility.

I stayed one night before my trip to machu pichu and one night afterwards (I could leave my big bag there). I liked, that it was in a side part of the village. The family was super nice. Bring some time, then you can spend some time with them. I even had breakfast and lunch with them (:

Jakeline's place is within a walking distance to the bus and the train station. It's a quiet location, which is a bonus.
