Places to stay in Rio Nido, Guerneville

My wife and I were meeting long time friends and their adult daughter, everyone was delighted with this house. Not only is it in a great setting but everything is just right. From communication with Bill to his helpful guidebook to the very nice pots and pans we used to cook each day. The house is beautiful and is spotless throughout. The windows and doors are new and keep the space peaceful. There are (to my count) 10 separate seating areas outside, we used 9! Bocce ball was fun and we had dinner outside. The spa was the right temperature and simple to use. The furniture and linens were great. And the views perfectly framed…. Beautiful landscaping with water features and abundant olive trees and large mature trees. Gorgeous The only downside was that we had to leave. It wasn’t inexpensive but we certainly were happy with the experience for what we paid, I’d be more than happy to visit again.

Collin’s place was such a cute and cozy retreat! The outdoor deck with stream was the best part of his house. Getting in and out of the driveway was a bit stressful as cars do tend to drive fast on that road, but Collin has certainly warned us about that. Collin’s description of the house, things to look out for, and local recommendations were also great! Very helpful. Would love to return some time if I can!

What a charming and cozy home Don and Amy have made. From the amazing fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and darling decor you have found your second home! We had the most wonderful getaway ringing in the new year. We cooked, watched movies and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the amazing back yard. We rent alot of homes and found Don and Amy's place a contender for the top spot. When I entered there were lights on, music playing, easy instructions and a lovely bottle of wine, box of crackers, gourmet cheese and several bottled waters. How nice is that! We felt so welcome and it was truly a joy. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! We will be back soon.

I can easily and honestly say that my wife and I have never stayed somewhere quite like the Eagle’s Nest at Salmon Creek Ranch. John was very friendly and the treehouse was in beautiful condition. Electricity is provided by battery and a small but quiet generator. The ranch is huge and perfect for hiking in both the dense woods and open fields. The nights were very peaceful and we expect to return in the future.

Check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. Host’s communication was impeccable. The place was clean and beautiful. The pics are very representative of the property. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Mediteranian Getaway was wonderful. It is in a beautiful, secluded location that takes you up some curves and hills - but that's part of the adventure! It is walking distance out the back door to a terrific hike on Fitch Mountain and the newly developed nature preserve with options for various difficulty levels. The living space is compact as advertised, and beautifully appointed, including a lovely large shower. The breakfasts out on the patio were a delicious added bonus. Everything we needed was provided. Kathryn and David made us feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend.

Loved my time at Christie’s! The space was clean, cozy, and conveniently located. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed the short walk to downtown and exploring the Petaluma area. Christie was a wonderful and responsive host. I would love to stay here again in the future!

It was truly a joy to be in this magical space. From sitting up at the window nook upstairs to eating in the cute and cozy kitchen downstairs to moonbathing in the lovely garden at night, every space is thoughtfully curated to maximize beauty and relaxation. We had a fabulous time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deja Blu. The location is perfection! Private, with beautiful gardens, only a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night was divine. The home was clean and comfortable, and Barr was a lovely, helpful host. If you are looking to unwind in serenity, I highly recommend this home.
