It’s a hostel so not everything is perfect like a hotel, but I met amazing people, slept well, and staff was super nice so it’s 5/5 for me!

The hostel space is very good, two refrigerators for storing belongings and some kitchen utensils, the bedroom space is also good and there is daily cleaning in them, clean shared bathrooms too. The service was wonderful to Isabela in the god several amazing tips for tours and about the city itself❤️

How lucky I was to have found Chez Zany to be my landing spot for a weekend in Rio de Janeiro. The place is amazing, very well organized and quiet. Beautiful hostel with amazing vibes - I felt like home immediately. Also very friendly and helpful volunteers. Super comfy bed and pretty interior. I also loved the terrace and the big bathrooms with hot water to shower ❤️. Santa Teresa is stunning and I personally liked it a lot more than Ipanema. Hostel felt safe and cozy at all times :) Only thing - I had a private room to get some rest, which didn't feel too private as it was next to the living room and it felt like there were no walls; you can hear every sound and every word outside, as the windows aren't insulated. That was a bit frustrating sometimes, as people wouldn't be quiet after 23:00 and still hang out in the livingroom. But other than that, I would come again and highly recommend this hostel!

The stay at Chez was amazing, the location is very good and I will definitely stay again the next time I go to Rio. Pleasant environment, totally within what is advertised and with great cost benefit. The volunteers were also very helpful and friendly. It's well worth it!
