Phil's place was a dream - tucked away from the rest of the world! When you stand in the open doorway of this 1927 log cabin, you'll look out to see only trees around you and the sky above. Turn in and find the wonderfully warm log-burning stove, unique wood detailing in each room, and the charming handmade heart-shaped lock on the door! We loved our long-term stay here, and recommend several places nearby - the Vreeland store for baked goods and great coffee, the Weis center for hiking, dessert at the nearby Soulmate cafe, and Breakbites for delicious tacos! Phil was easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond for us during our stay. He is a great host, with a beautiful place that he has evidently put a great deal of time and care into making as comfortable as possible for guests wanting to stay somewhere out of time and off the beaten path.

It was great! Better than expected and I would have stayed longer if possible and would stay again if the opportunity comes up. Thank you!

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at Darien's lovely guest cottage. It was attractive, immaculate and everything that anyone could need was there. Darien was always responsive if I had any questions or specific needs. It couldn't have been any better; thank you, Darien!!

Everything was wonderful! The location was beautiful, especially in this frozen winter wonderland. Jo was super friendly and communicative - checked in on me multiple times throughout my stay. Had everything I needed. Would definitely stay again!
