Lake view, Pool, near beach, Pinball, Darts Arcade

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Townhouse with beautiful view over the lake to Stresa and the mountains of Switzerland. Very practical that you can park the car in an underground parking and enter the house through its cellar. Good mattress with typical German feather beds and a direct lake view from the master bedroom’s bed. Our dog enjoyed the garden and the balcony (master bedroom) very much. It was very easy for him to climb up the stairs to the first floor, because the granite steps are roughened so they are not slippery, even when wet. There is a beach area (Cerro Beach) on the way to the restaurant Il Chiosco di Cerro where dogs are playing in the morning or evening and ours was warmly welcomed to join the group. We charged our car in Laveno-Mombello next to Cafe Vela (harbor promenades) and next to Via della Pergola, which brings you to the Sasso del Ferro gondola. But there are plenty of other charging stations around so we never got in trouble.

Michel Apartment, the Pearl of the Lake (Casa Aida)

Steffen Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fantastic location with a view over the Largo. The terrace and pool are really very nice. The apartment was spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 excellent restaurants within a short distance. We enjoyed the quiet location very much, the only negative was a neighbor's dogs. Unfortunately, these were often loud at night.

We felt comfortable in Umberto's quiet and well-kept apartment. The co-host Silvia is very helpful and available at any time. Special thanks to them. The surroundings offer a lot of beauty, very convenient for various activities. The terrace with the beautiful view of the lake is perfect if you don't want to do anything.

We had a wonderful week at the Onsernonetal. The spacious house was ideal for a group of friends. On sunny days we enjoyed the stone pool very much. Berzona liked and extraordinary to everyone. The quiet location of the village and the great view were just that after we were looking. We especially loved Michaela Tip the restaurant in the neighboring village. Very cozy and an fantastic kitchen. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

Maybe the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever been in. Breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The Jacuzzi is of course a highlight but the most important one was on our opinion the host. Very helpful and friendly.

Paradies am Lago Maggiore

MatthiasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A place to breathe – with a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore We enjoyed our stay in this house! The absolute highlight was the breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Maggiore – be it at breakfast on the terrace or at sunset in the garden. The spacious garden is a true haven of peace, ideal for unwinding and recharging in the middle of nature. The house is well equipped, clean and lovingly cared for. If you are looking for peace, privacy and nature, you will find it here. A note on arrival: The footpath from the parking lot or garage to the house takes about 8–10 minutes and leads via a partly bumpy hiking trail. In case of rain, it can get slippery, and with heavy luggage, the path quickly becomes difficult – here good shoes and possibly a luggage car are beneficial. Nevertheless, the path is worth it – because at the end there is a small paradise with panoramic views, silence and pure nature.

Charming farmhouse with mountain views

EunjiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Grindelwald Main Street, a short walk from the station. The location is really nice and the room is much bigger than the picture. The wide field that can be seen from the window is nice because it is a place that only guests can use. There are chairs and tables in the yard, and you can feel that the host's loving accommodation is all over the place. Even the faucet and tiles in the bathroom were beautiful:) I want to use this friendly place again next time.

Charming chalet

JanelleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

Perfect for those looking for tranquility and nature. An accommodation with great attention to detail, a well-equipped and comfortable kitchen, beautiful windows overlooking the charming village. A pleasure to have breakfast on the balcony! Although the temperatures of the period were high, in the apartment you were fine and rested cool at night. Convenient location to visit several valleys. Friendly and discreet welcome from Mr. Paolo. Highly recommended.

Tiny chalet on a very quiet place

YustinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My mother and I enjoyed our stay at this Chalet very much. Honestly, it was tiring to drag our luggage on the steep hill on our first day, but as soon as we entered the Chalet, we felt right at home! We took the local bus 123, which comes every hour. With a Grindelwald guest pass, local buses are free. We didn’t know it was free, so we paid each time. So please take advantage and make sure to check out the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your day. The bed was comfortable, not too firm and not too soft. The kitchen was well cleaned and maintained, although some items need to be replenished or updated. There is a fondue pot and we had a fodue dinner one evening, which was fun! Please note there is no microwave. I turned on the oven at the lowest setting, turned off, then heated food from residual heat. The bathroom was clean too with good water pressure. We appreciated a hair dryer. Surrounded by the Grindelwald’s beautiful mountains, the Chalet is a true gem! We will stay again?

Tiny House, quiet, nature, right on the south ramp

BeateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bruno went to great lengths to make my stay enjoyable. He led me through the village and explained the building systems to me. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with basics. The electric floor heating was extremely pleasant in a cold and rainy rainy week. Although the house is very small, it is surprisingly spacious. Bathroom to feel good, bed on the upper floor comfortable. Everything is lovingly and pragmatically furnished and has atmosphere. Arriving by car requires fearless driving: steep, winding road, which the PostBus to Visp mastered briskly. The train station is very convenient (the BLS runs to Brig in 20 minutes) and downhill in 4 minutes, uphill I had to take a breather (I'm 70 :-) The hiking opportunities directly from the house are ideal for short walks or long tours.

We were very kindly received and well informed by Lorenza! The house has all the comforts, everything is present and everything was super clean. The garden is beautifully large and fenced with a fence so that the dog can also walk around freely. On the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful views and the quiet surroundings. Communication with Alberto was also super, always responded quickly and friendly. Alberto and Lorenza thank you for your hospitality, the chance that we will come again is great!
