We really enjoyed our time at the Peppermint Cottage. It was freezing cold and snowy when we got there and it made us feel instantly warm and cosy when we walked in and a fire was already going in that beautiful fireplace! It was a quiet and peaceful location, and we enjoyed a quiet nights rest. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

This host went above and beyond with details and everything was exactly as described. The home was extremely clean, which for a clean freak like me-is wonderful! Lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and flexible. Beautiful place to stay inside and the view of Lake Ontario is spectacular on the outside! Hope to go again sometime before summer is over!

My family and I had the absolute most wonderful weekend here!! Victoria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ice fished and cooked on the grill and relaxed in the hot tub. ❤️ it was absolutely wonderful!

We have stayed at this house multiple times. It is our home away from home at the Finger Lakes. You can’t beat the location! The house is absolutely perfect. It is a wonderful getaway. I can’t recommend it enough.

We had our annual girls weekend up in the Finger Lakes. This was a perfect location for us to visit a plethora of wineries, enjoy the lake, and go on a hike. The home was cozy and it was a great place to end our nights at. Mary was a great host and super communicative - gave us some great tips about wineries and some other local spots. Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we could ever ask for for a 3 day fishing escape. Neat and comfortable rooms and living space, a great outdoor deck space, combined with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Made our fishing trip more memorable!

Our stay in Lodi was amazing. Beautiful view of the lake while watching tv, cooking or just playing a game. Very Peaceful. Easy to walk our dog. Love how the bedrooms are on each side of the house as well as bathrooms as to not disturb one another... beautiful.. many wineries and breweries for tastings, & most are Dog friendly too! So easy to sit back and relax! My daughter & boyfriend loved hiking and also did some golf! This was a Beautiful getaway and the host was so great and attentive. So clean and so comfy.

Michele and Andy were friendly, helpful, hospitable hosts, and their farm is beautiful! We enjoyed a relaxing weekend surrounded by their horses, cows, fields and forests. The house itself has rustic, unpolished, handmade charm and is decorated very tastefully. The bed was comfortable, the wood stove was easy to use and helped us stay warm for our winter visit. Michele was accommodating of our arrival and departure times, going out of her way to try to help us adjust plans to match the weather. She was also very helpful in providing restaurant recommendations and information about the area. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and had SO much fun! We were able to cook everything we wanted, everything needed is there. Spices, pans, etc. The heated blankets were an amazing touch. The area was nice, very quiet but I’m sure a little busier when it’s not off season.

We loved our stay! The house was awesome, very comfortable, and had everything we might need during our stay. Those rocking chairs on the porch were the icing on the cake. So lovely - hope to come again during the summer or fall.

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! “Ventura Lake House “ is nothing short of magical. The cottage is so comfortable and eclectic, furniture with fascinating pieces of art made by the hosts. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable as was every space on the property, inside and outdoors. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything a person might need. Christine even left a special birthday treat for our son and croissants as well as many staples in the fridge. Our favorite part was sitting on an Adirondack chair just watching and listening to Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back again and again. So grateful that Christine and Paul offer this beautiful place — and their many creative talents — for others to enjoy! Thank you!

Such a great cabin! Plenty of room for 2 people and 2 80lb dogs. The views are amazing-you couldn’t be any closer to the water. There are docks and cabins close by, but it does feel private. Being October, there wasn’t too much activity on the lake..even with temps in the 80s! It made for a really relaxing trip. We were lucky enough to see a loon and had eagles fly overhead daily..we even had a beaver swim right next to us on the dock!! The cabin has a cozy fireplace (heater) and was well equipped with everything you need. The linens were soft, the towels were thick and the bed was very comfortable! Kayaking was wonderful when the wind allowed. Fishing from the dock wasn’t great, but then again, I am more versed in creek/pond fishing rather than giant lake fishing. I did have a great day fishing at a nearby pond in Hector on the interlocken trail..called teeter pond. Our host (Gillian) was wonderful. It was evident that her guests experience was really important to her.

Wow - what a fantastic lakeside retreat! There must be 6 different places to sit/gather outside - the fire table was especially nice for sipping some Riesling on a chilly night. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of amenities (including kayaks if so inclined). Very quiet surroundings (we were there during the week-end, too), but you have to watch out for the seagulls - they like to hang out on the deck. Great location is within 1/2 hour of many excellent wineries and restaurants. Would definitely return here the next time we are in FLX!
