Prime location with malls ,hotels and hospital within 1-3 km from the house. Food joints at a walking distance. Local transport is easily available. Quiet neighbourhood. The listed property has a bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and a bathroom. We also have an induction plate, utensils, tea/ coffee - maker, fridge, and bread toaster. Feel free to cook your own meals using the little knick knacks in the house! We are a retired couple, excited to host and help travellers plan their north -east trip!

It's a cozy beautiful A/c Single bed room Apartment with 1 double (King size )bed,wardrobe,dressing table attached bathroom and large fully serviced kitchen,balcony and private terrace on 3rd floor ( sorry no lift )of our bungalow. Can fit one extra bed if required ideal for 2 but can sleep 3 .The apartment is beautiful & spacious and very convenient in terms of location and communication. Roma's place is simply wonderful. It's super clean, the beds are really comfortable and the place has everything you need for your stay. The breakfast is delicious and you have the option to have a home-cooked evening meal so we did every night! Best of all, Roma is a truly fantastic host, providing loads of helpful information as well as giving us a hand when we needed to make some last minute changes to our plans. I cannot recommend Roma's place highly enough - you must stay there if you're interested Shillong.

I’m so glad I chanced upon this property. Philarisa and her caretakers made sure that my safety was not compromised in any way (the fact that her home is next to a police station provides assurance to a great deal too). The room was incredibly clean, and the amenities made it feel like I had checked in to a premier hotel. Special shoutout to her caretakers Bopai and Palei, who were always ready to assist and provide suggestions on modes of transportation and beauty spots to visit. Highly recommended.

Mimosa Ridge- Tranquil Heritage House

The essence of Shillong lies in its Assam type bungalows. That made staying in the century old Mimosa Ridge an authentic experience. The rooms and bathrooms were *spic and span*. The nights were quite cold when we visited. So, coming back after a long walk and sitting around the heater was a treat. The bed warmer made tucking in really cosy. Restaurants are available from Laitumkhrah to Don Bosco and requires a stretched walk. So, dinner is a bit of a challenge if it is raining. Otherwise, the surroundings, especially further up the hill, is peaceful and pleasant. The driver recommended by the host was excellent. Flip side, the WiFi did not work reliably. The breakfast is great for two days but gets a tad repetitive from the third day. We would love to see more flowers around the house. All in all, we felt it was a bit expensive given that breakfast and WiFi options were limited, but our stay was memorable and we will fondly remember our stay. We recommend it highly.
