In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

It is a cottage on a farm in the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve, in the middle of the Leiningerland. In addition to our beautiful hut, we offer insight into our poultry and fish farming. We wanted a green spot, away from the city, to enjoy peace and quiet, nature, good food and drinks, and invite friends over. Sun, snow, rain, a good book, your bike, and good company—coziness is guaranteed in this cottage! The view is truly amazing :-) Discount if you rent for a week. Saturdays are light gray because you cannot arrive on that day.
