Welcome to the idyllic municipality of Lutzenberg in the hilly Appenzellerland. The small former laundry house with barrel sauna is surrounded by green meadows and trees. The cozy cottage impresses with lots of charm and comfort. Another highlight in addition to the sauna is the stream that flows through the property and gives the whole a relaxed atmosphere. Whether those seeking peace, nature lovers or those interested in culture – everyone will find their retreat here.

House to the spring

The house to the source is embedded in the uniquely hilly landscape of the Apenzellerland with views of Lake Constance in the nature-focused village ofhausen. The village center with bakery, kiosk, cafe and an excellent pizzeria is a 2-minute walk away; the bus stop in both directions (Heiden / St. Margrethen) is a few steps away from the house. Cozy walks with views over Lake Constance and wonderful hikes (e.g. Witzwanderweg) are possible directly from the house.

Willkommen in unserem Appenzellerhaus! Die Einlieger-Wohnung wurde im Jahr 2022 neu renoviert. Es ist eine helle Wohnung mit viel Licht und Sonne, zwei Etagen und einer Terrasse mit Blick auf Wiesen, Wald und Bodensee. Sie befindet sich in einer ruhigen Strasse (Sackgasse). Hier können Kinder sich draussen richtig austoben. Die Ferienwohnung eignet sich besonders für Familien, Paare und Menschen, die Natur, Ruhe und Sport lieben. Wir Vermieter wohnen nebenan.

Cozy room overlooking the countryside Our guest room on a private floor offers a lot of privacy and tranquility. It has a 140cm bed and a nice seating area overlooking the countryside. The private entrance and free parking provide additional comfort. The private toilet with shower is a little older but clean and functional. Guests can use the bbq in the garden. Our charming Rhine Valley house was built in 1919 and has been completely renovated. The living space is 105 m2 with a room height of 1.92m. Two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with corner bath and rain shower and toilet, a separate toilet, open living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a large terrace and our beautiful garden with outdoor whirlpool, garden sauna and pool can be your temporary home.

An idyllic place high above Lake Constance, with plenty of space for up to 10 people (6 adults and 4 children) . Our bright and cozy house is in a unique location that is in a unique location. House and private, large garden with incredibly beautiful views far over the lake and the hills of the Appenzellerland offer a lot of privacy. Our house is particularly suitable for groups and family holidays.

In the Hüsli, an original Appenzell farmhouse (with empty annex), you will enjoy a unique view over the Rhine Valley to the Austrian mountains. The cottage is quietly located in nature, perfect for relaxing, hiking or biking, but still easily accessible by car, the Appenzeller train is about a 15-minute walk (pick-up service for arrival and departure possible).
