Really enjoyed our stay. We had the place to ourselves. Great communication throughout. We wanted to stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was ideal. No northern lights last night, but what a wonderful experience. It’s a bit like a youth hostel, so if you want fancy luxury, this wouldn’t be the place. If you want to drive 20 mins to the end of a fjord and enjoy some splendid isolation - you’ll love it.

A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed with a patterned blanket and two plump pillows. Light enters through a window with simple blue curtains, illuminating the wooden wall beside it. A bedside table is visible, enhancing the room's functional layout.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Nyp. We were met by welcoming faces and a very stylish interior, which felt like stepping into narnia after driving in the wet and dark for hours at the end of a long day. Our host Hubert instantly made us feel right at home with his kind and warm welcome, looking after us for the duration of our stay – it wouldn't have been the same without him. The surroundings were beautiful and we made sure to take our time in the morning to walk into the mountains and down to the beach before heading on our way. A wonderful experience, thank you.

Were stayed in Iceland for almost 3 weeks. This was our favorite place by far. Felt right at home, the farmhouse was well suited for our group, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the spectacular views and surroundings, walks, & saw my first Northern Lights here, it was magical. Also had fun playing ping pong in the barn. A great location for exploring the Westfjords.

Best Airbnb I've ever stayed in! Everything is absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful and full of history. We are isolated, alone in the middle of nature in a relaxing setting. The house is extremely clean, the beds are comfortable. The host is very friendly, the check-in tools are very easy and well indicated. There is absolutely no fault, we had a great time. Thank you so much to the host. A thought for our friend the dog. I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful house in the country with amazing views. Hosts were very responsive and answer questions that we had before we arrived. House is very clean and the only neighbors were sheep lots to do in the area, including some amazing trails to run on. Thanks for such a great stay

It’s important to note that there aren’t many dining options nearby, so plan accordingly. The space itself was comfortable, and it was fun to meet other travelers. If you are looking for a place to stay that will take your breath away look no further. This spot is UNMATCHED. All basic needs met indoors. Very private. Gorgeous beyond. Outside you have the sea, the mountains, waterfalls and the sound of the wind dancing through the grass. I will forever be thinking of this place and hope to return soon.

I didn’t want to leave! This was my favorite place to stay out of 5 other places during my vacation. The host was very friendly. The bathroom was very clean, as was everything else. The room was cute and just enough room for me and my friend. The restaurant next door Cafe Riis was delicious! I wish I could have stayed longer.

We booked the place for two at the end of December and, due to a previous heavy blizzard, were able to use the entire front guest house alone. There are 2 guest houses, each with 5 rooms. At full capacity, 12 guests could be accommodated. The first floor has underfloor heating, a very well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, an open living/dining area and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, as well as a bathroom. The surrounding area itself is very quiet, spacious and very nice. From the terrace you can let your gaze wander over the fields, mountains and the sea inlet in the foreground. In the snowy winter everything looks very nice! In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting Blær. A very gentle Icelandic horse of the family. We very much enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to book the place again. Thanks Erla, you were a great host!

Very Cosy private home, it was great meeting Eydis' dad, who supported us with some great recommendations! The house was a perfect stopover on our way to Isafjördur. As there is no infrastructure (restaurants, shops etc), you need to bring some food for dinners and breakfast. Kitchen and bath might be shared by other travelers, e.g. we enjoyed meeting a family from Italy. We enjoyed the very quiet nights in this beautiful scenerie!

I had a very late check-in due to a car accident and it was a really tough evening, but I was able to have a really happy time with the warm hospitality and beautiful house. I was able to have a warm dinner and a bed for an incredibly low price for one night in Iceland. I am so grateful.

The space had everything we needed and more. The hot chocolate, cereal, and cookies were a lovely bonus. There was a welcoming living room, and the bedroom had a very comfortable large bed. It was perfect!

The communication with Röfn was straightforward, and we were allowed a flexible arrival. The accommodation was clean and very cozy. Our expectations were exceeded, and the view out of our room on the bay was phenomenal. We were very satisfied, would come back anytime, and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Magnea and the family live upstairs, and we sent hello to her when we just arrived, very friendly host. The apartment was neat, warm, beds were comfortable. We’re glad to have a nice staying there. Recommend for sure!
