Surrounded by vines and at the foot of the Northern Black Forest is our beautiful barn. A place where families can relax and unforgettable adventures await in front of the barn door. Altschweier is a cozy wine village with great excursions in the area (Gertelbacher waterfalls, Mummelsee, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Europapark Rust, Strasbourg). Donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens live on our farm. On request, we offer farm tours and donkey hikes.

The highlight is the cozy terrace, which is located in the middle under a fig tree – ideal for relaxing and enjoying. Here up to 4 adults and 1 toddler & pet will find a cozy home :-) – perfect for families!

Come and recharge your batteries in our tree house (not accessible to people with reduced mobility, miller's ladder) overlooking our miniature goats, our mini donkeys, our mini ponies, our pig, total disconnection but with very good network coverage (just in case) 😀. Guests can enjoy a real SPA on the deck of the cabin. ⚠️ The cabin is not suitable for infants. 20 min from Strasbourg, 15 min from Haguenau, 10 min from Germany.

Cozy cuddly nest in Sasbachwalden

Our accommodation, true to the motto "small but nice," is located in the small Sasbachwalden surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Black Forest and offers a lot of relaxation, adventure and pure life. In the vicinity is the nearest ski resort just 15 minutes by car from the apartment. The beautiful Mummelsee is also a 14-minute drive away and invites you to take leisurely walks.

For about 200 years, the train station has been a place for travelers and vacationers. Today you can live in it. Whether with friends or in a small family group. Behind the railway line (5-minute walk) you will find a small stream, fields, forest and meadows. Excursions to the Black Forest, Northern Alsace, Europa-Park or the Europabad are easily accessible from the property.

Modern apartment in the Black Forest

In a quiet and rural location in Achern-Fautenbach, at the foot of the northern Black Forest and at the entrance of the Achtertal valley, lies our spacious and cozy apartment with about 115 m² of living space. It is the ideal base for the numerous destinations in our region, such as the Hornisgrinde, the Europa Park or Strasbourg.

"Mini-house" in a rustic, approx. 200-year-old barn, equipped with air conditioning, kitchenette, bathroom, sleeping gallery. Small balcony with views of the Hornisgrinde (Black Forest). Baden-Baden + Strasbourg are close. Ideal for young/young-at-heart couples/solo travelers who also like the countryside.

It is a quiet attached apartment with 45 m2 in our house. They have their own entrance, so they are undisturbed. The apartment is surrounded by vineyards. The nearest shopping area is a 5-minute walk away. They can park right in front of the house. It is 2.7 km to Bühl and 10 km to Baden-Baden.

Modern 1.5 room apartment

Our granny apartment is in the middle of Urloffen. The apartment is located on the ground floor and was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2023. The access path and terrace were redone in 2025. Bus stop, bakery, pharmacy and grocery stores are within walking distance.
