The Holt, a communal space with extra everything is also home to a huge range of maps and local information. Christine was welcoming and friendly and the cabin was spotless. Highly recommended! Lodge with private hot tub.

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Ishbel and Angus's place. The lodge was very comfortable, clean and bigger than it looks in the photos. The hot tub was a welcome respite in the evenings after our hill walking adventures, and you never tire of the views, they are outstanding. We mainly did hill walking and scrambling in the area. We booked a two day scrambling course with a local guide which was fantastic. We walked/ran to and from Scoraig, and we enjoyed a two hour boat trip around the summer isles from Ullapool. We definitely recommend the Sea Shack in Ullapool for fresh seafood! The area is remote, peaceful and quiet, a perfect getaway from it all. You can truly switch off here and enjoy the natural world.

Dal na Mara: luxury home with stunning sea views

KarenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Dal na Mara literally took my breath away. I'd seen all the photos, but the reality is ethereal! I literally spent the first day looking out the windows, listening to the wind, watching the sun move across the water, islands, and mountains. I will treasure my week of relaxation and being in the moment. The home is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and creates a wonderful home for the week. Helga has thought of everything as well as the directions. I ever closed the blinds because I wanted to see the view 24-7. Private, so I didn't feel exposed. The bed was a cloud. So many places to travel see the incomparable NW Highlands as well as Ullapool. BEST TRAVEL LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION IN 35 YEARS!!
An aerial view showcases a secluded island with a charming white building surrounded by greenery. A floating footbridge connects the island to the mainland, while boats are anchored in the tranquil waters. The landscape is dotted with rocky shores and diverse vegetation.
