La Barn Bleue sits on top of a hill by a forest, in a secluded and peaceful property. The main house, where we live is 150 feet down the hill. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The bedroom/lounge loft has one king bed and 2 twin beds. Ideal for families and kids above 5 years old. Because we use a rope railing, we cannot host kids under 5 years old for security reasons. Robin's place is in a quiet and beautiful setting. It is very peaceful and comfortable. The house was wonderful. It was very comfortable, and it immediately felt just like home. Robin has done a great job of providing extras, such as spices and condiments in the kitchen, which is very well equipped. The inside decor is lovely. The outside seating areas provide a great place to relax. Although the property is in a secluded area, it is only a short drive to local restaurants, shops, etc. Robin is a wonderful host to clearly communicates and goes above and beyond to assure that her guests have everything they need. We would definitely book another stay in the future.

Great stay!!! Was impeccably cleaned and perfect location between rhinebeck, pine plains and close to the taconic! Arlene was super helpful with all questions and provided new sheets and towels through our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a great spot for the weekend! We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin which had so much natural light and was quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and inviting. We really appreciated Melissa's clear instructions on finding the cabin as we arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
