House vacation rentals in Raystown Lake

House was very remote, but there was a small store about 10 min away for essentials. We planned our meals, shopping and excursions in advance, so we really didn't need to make any special trips. House was huge and had everything we could of needed. The Co-Host reached out to us a couple of times about mowing and opening the pool, making sure we were OK with it. We had a beautiful rainbow 🌈 to admire and the serenity of the home was exactly what we needed to reset. On the last night our Co-Host brought us a homemade Strawberry pie. I highly recommend this rental for anybody looking to sit back, relax and enjoy the quietness of the area.

We had a unforgettable weekend at Kathryn's home with good friends! The pool, the barn, the privacy and the surroundings were spectacular! I already recommended the home to mu family because it does feel like home 🏡

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless and incredibly well-maintained. You can tell the host really takes pride in making guests feel comfortable. Directions were super clear, and communication from the host was top-notch from start to finish. She was warm, responsive, and made everything seamless. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches — local popcorn, a variety of coffee creamers, and other little extras that made it feel extra cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-hosted stay. I’d definitely come back!

This house was in a great neighborhood and perfect for our stay in State College! The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for a family meal post graduation. We would definitely stay here again.

Kathryn’s home was perfectly secluded and had everything we needed for our stay while visiting family from out of town. We had originally booked a different air bnb and there were issues. Upon reaching out to Kathryn she repo drs very quickly letting us know her rental was available and we were able to check in within 15 minutes of booking. It was after 7pm so I was so happy with her quick reply. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the home was well decorated. The hot tub was a great addition to have available after being out all day. We plan on staying here again when we visit.

Cody’s place was very peaceful and private. The river and mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for our trip. The screened in back porch was great as we spent most of our time out there. We didn’t have much luck fishing in the river but that was the only downfall of our trip. We would gladly stay here again!

This is our second time staying at this house for a girls weekend (7 of us), and we will be back again! The home is spotless, thoughtfully appointed and cozy. It’s a 5 minute drive to downtown Bedford making it easy to see everything in town, and easy to get home and relax.

Absolutely stunning historical home. Spacious and extremely clean! (Soooo clean 🤗) Our fur babies loved the fenced in yard. Plenty of bathrooms, linens, towels, kitchen supplies…etc. My only minor complaint is the tiny showers in the extra bedrooms. But, being that it is a historical home, I’m glad there were showers at all. It would definitely not deter me from staying again. Beautiful home and great hosts!

Zig Zag Acres is a great place! It’s very clean and well-maintained! Very private and peaceful location with a beautiful porch and deck near a large pond. Owner gave easy to follow directions as the house is not located on any main road.

Beautiful & peaceful cabin with fenced in yard for our pups! Sandra was an amazing host! We had some unexpected weather and Sandra not only checked on us but brought us dinner! Her cabin was clean, bright, & had all the comforts of home. Cabin was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your family & your fur babies. We would love to visit again, thank you Sandra!!

This is a wonderful place for a family reunion or a gathering of friends. There’s tons of space indoors and out. The game room with pinball, video games, pool table and bar is a great spot to gather. The kitchen is huge with lots of room to gather around the table. The spa-like bath rooms have the best towels. We didn’t use the outdoor grill or hot tub, but plan to come back to do so. Super convenient to Juniata College, Reyestown Lake, and lots of great hiking spots, yet tucked away from any of the craziness. Nothing better than a hot coffee in the morning while taking in the views of the mountains. And Joe is a super responsive host. Five stars.

Our stay was amazing! Host friendly, responsive and flexible. The house was great, nicely renovated, very clean and well stocked. Lots of entertainment options for kids and adults alike. Right off the freeway but felt private at the same time. Grocery and other stores 4 mins away.

Home met our family’s needs perfectly. Kitchen was spacious & well equipped for preparing meals and bedrooms were cozy. The house is decorated lovely, and we enjoyed the huge front porch. Hosts were very helpful & responsive. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay.

This is definitely a hidden gem! A home away from home, with all things needed and those you don’t know you need until you do! Last but not least the location couldn’t be more perfect for getting around town not to mention a great view of the beautiful surroundings!

Hands down, the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The location is unbelievably peaceful—“gorgeous” doesn’t even begin to cover it. Staying here feels like stepping into your grandma’s house circa early 1900s, but with all the modern comforts: incredibly cozy beds, plush luxury towels, and a shower with endless hot water. Pure bliss. If you’re looking to escape the daily grind and truly relax, this is your place. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, everything about this spot is designed to soothe your soul. The house is thoughtfully stocked with anything you could possibly need. We’ll definitely be coming back.

This house is gorgeous, it was a very pleasant stay. Only had 2 things that would have made it absolutely perfect, I have to get them out of the way early cause every thing else was six stars. I was surprised there wasn't a TV and the floors are slippery so grippy socks would be a must. The whole place is beautifully restored, stunning actually. All the beds are comfy, the couch is great and the jacuzzi is a great relaxing bonus. The master bedroom upstairs is beautiful, the showers have great water pressure. The proximity to amenities is convenient. The host is super flexible nice, and very helpful. There was even shampoo, laundry detergent if you forgot yours. If you have a big group or a wedding party that needs a place together, this is a definite recommendation.

Everything in the house was comfortable and clean. The ping pong table and shuffle board table in the basement was great too.

This was a beautiful and cozy country cottage. Our host left us everything to make breakfast (including eggs!) and s’mores for the fire pit which we unfortunately couldn’t partake in because of the rain. It was such a comfy and cozy place that I will make sure I book this residence whenever I come to the area. Instructions were very clear and host was very responsive. Thank you for a great trip!
