Had a Fantastic time in Barrington & surrounds. The Little Church was just adorable, and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed every moment there. We had a Great Weekend away.

The riverview cottage was the most peaceful and private place we have ever stayed in. If you are someone that likes to relax or read a book while being surrounded by bushland and listening to birds then this is the place for you. The kitchen was large and had everything needed for easy meal prep and serving. Just one air conditioner in the cottage and its located upstairs outside the 2 bedrooms, so it took a while to get the downstairs and bedrooms cool (by the way, we were there on 33-35 deg, days). The cottage is perched up above the river and the large deck has good views. We saw wallabies, rabbits and a snake while driving around...a real A real Aussie bush experience! The river it was a short drive to the camping ground area and then about a 60m walk down to the water, which was clear, a perfect tempreature to swim or lay around in. A floatation ring or sunbed, even more relaxing. Different parts of the river have different rapid flow speeds so just choose the area that suits

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at River Rest. Jen’s a wonderful, thoughtful host and the cottage is cosy and well-appointed. Comfy beds, a lovely shower, sunny sitting room and a beautiful spot to sit by the river at the bottom of the garden! We’d love to stay here again.
