Great place to stay for a quick weekend in Chicago. Comfortable bed & temperature in basement space.

Jennifer was a very hospitable host and I had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and quiet!

The stay was amazing. The only issue was finding parking especially at night was really tuff to find a stop.

First time staying at an Air Bnb and it was amazing. Instructions were very clear and the place had everything we needed!

Very comfy apartment in a great neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game and it’s a terrific place for that, just about a 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. The only thing to be concerned about is the stairs: there are two flights to get into the apartment and they’re fairly steep and small, so if you have mobility issues that would be a concern. I don’t and had no problem. Karen is a lovely host and was very helpful when I was getting into the place and unloading my stuff from my car. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so it’s a great place to explore and hang out.

Taranee’s home was beautiful and so comfortable for our family! We had an issue with the kitchen sink and Taranee was so quick, responsive, kind, and helpful. Not sure I’ve ever had a better host! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Was a very nice and relaxing place to stay after spending time in the city! Really close to multiple bus stops which made the public transport really easy to access. The inside was very clean and nice, the bed is extremely comfortable! Would stay again!

Tippi was a great host! The room was clean & comfortable. The area has a few gems and great transport options. Would definitely recommend to others to stay if you're looking for a place not too far out of the city!

Susan was a fantastic host with great communication and super friendly! The place is in a great neighborhood that’s safe and walkable to many restaurants and bars. Easy street parking was also a perk! Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Jason’s Bluebird Inn Loft apt was everything we needed and more. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to hold our luggage in Jason’s cafe/bar downstairs. Once the apt was ready, Jason helped with moving our bags upstairs which was very kind and service that was above and beyond expectations. The record player, pull out bed, and washer/dryer came in very handy during our stay. It was also nice to have the cafe/bar downstairs for breakfast and drinks before heading out. It was such a relief to know we had a reliable and cozy space after being out all day sightseeing. Thank you, Jason, for curating such a cool space! Would gladly stay again in the future.

Just wonderful. That was one of the nicest places I've ever been. The apartment is totally lovingly furnished. Everything was super clean and tidy. There are even toothbrushes, toothpaste and a sleeping mask if you need them. The kitchen is also super equipped with everything you need. The short walk to the metro was also very convenient. We would definitely come back.

Chad and Jodees place was great for us and our 5 and 2 year old. They had lots of kid friendly amenities like toys, plastic dishes, and books. It’s also walkable to a large park. We had a minor issue with the toilet and Chad came up immediately to fix it (they live right downstairs). The apartment makes very efficient use of space and had everything we needed for 5 days in Chicago.

Fun stay for moms and sons weekend! Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Plenty of space and very charming. Thank you!

We loved staying at Richard's home; He ensured my friend, and I had a great time and accommodated the space to our needs. The place was clean and feel comfy. They left clear instructions and recommendations for our stay. They even left some snacks in the fridge for us that helped us after a long trip. The home is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Richard is a kind and thoughtful host; you can tell she cares about the people, and that makes a huge difference when it comes to picking a place when you are traveling!.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hugh’s place! Check-in was straightforward and the apartment was just as described as well as being clean and well-stocked with dishes, pillows, blankets and bathroom supplies. Hugh and Susan were very responsive and kindly allowed us an early check-in. The neighborhood was lovely and it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and an L stop on the Brown Line. These aren’t negatives about this listing but things to keep in mind: the apartment does require use of stairs and it’s about an hour’s L ride into downtown Chicago. We didn’t have any trouble getting around but definitely needed to be mindful of timing. We would highly recommend Hugh’s place for a stay in Chicago!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Fantastic place! The Andersonville neighborhood is friendly and gorgeous, lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance, and the L station is just a few minutes' walk away. The off-street parking to keep the car out of the way during our stay was an added bonus. One note for visitors: The Argyle station (the nearest L stop) is under construction. The entrance is now on Winona - which is even closer to the Airbnb.

Nice living space with a historic home feel. Easily walkable to Lincoln Square restaurants and shops. Convenient access to metro and connection to downtown Chicago. I was concerned about finding street parking but was able to easily find parking close to the house. I would definitely look to stay at this property for future visits.

The condo is in a quiet and attractive neighborhood and the hosts answered my few questions promptly. The place was very clean and although the bedrooms were small, it was nice that each of us (nana and two teens) could have their own space.

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

My husband and 2-year-old stayed here with my parents during a family reunion. We appreciated the kids books and toys, the crib and especially the big closet in the bedroom where we could shut the door when we put the kiddo down early. Spacious and comfortable place that we enjoyed staying in.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.
