Large and spacious house with a huge kitchen. We loved our time at Liz’s place.

Beautiful house inside and out. Was exactly like the pictures showed. Very cozy and warm and had a lovely homey feeling. Was the perfect size and easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Lovely host who always responded promptly and was friendly and accommodating. Best Airbnb we have stayed at so far. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Claire and family.

a big comfy space with lots of amenities, well suited for families. parking may require some skill but Gabbie was a kind and responsive host that gave clear instructions beforehand.

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring. Thank you for letting us enjoy your little paradise!

We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by a beautiful garden and at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bakery. Neighboring a reserve at the back was a bonus, so we had more space to play ball games. It was a great place to rest and relax, indoor or outdoor. Board games available to play when it rained. One thing to note is that the bedroom upstairs, although private, it doesn't have a door to block any noise from downstairs. It is a cute cottage with lots of space for everybody.

Had a wonderful stay at Richard’s place! The place looked exactly like the photos and it was so lovely to have a garage to park in as well as being able to bring our dog. Appreciate all the small touches and great information booklet. The beds were comfy and the shower pressure was fantastic. Hope to stay again in the future!

My family and I had a lovely 2-night stay at Lis's property - it was peaceful and very clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was fully stacked with all the pots, pans, plates and cups you needed plus other kitchen appliances. Lis was very communicative and check in was easy. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Otaki area. Plus, the little treat she left us was delicious! Thank you so much Lis x

Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

Friendly hosts, close to the beach, spacious place, hot tub (!) and two cuties (dog and cat) welcoming us upon arrival. We were unlucky with the weather, but the hot tub made even the rainy evenings enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

Ultra clean & spacious apartment with private access. Amazingly comfortable bed, great shower with nice toilettries, nice glasses & crockery. Linda had thoughtfully left breakfast provisions: eggs, bread, butter, milk, and beautiful chocolate. Access to a long, flat, sandy beach is next to the neighbours house. Thanks Linda & Shane

Plimmerton and the Punga hideaway is the perfect spot for a weekend away, its a great wee spot and we would be more than happy to stay again if we are back again some day, excellent place and hosts.

Wow! I would highly recommend this place! It was clean, quiet, spacious and had everything you could want plus extras! It was so nice to have the fridge and pantry stocked with items -like eggs, bacon, juice, milk, bread, fruit, cereal and more! The bed was very comfortable too. And Waikanae is such a beautiful place to visit. The beach there is amazing and we found some great restaurants as well. I hope we can return next year!

We had a lovely stay. Jan and Doug were very welcoming and we appreciated the cheese, crackers and Doug’s delicious homemade relish when we arrived. The accommodation was comfortable and the view across the sea to Kapiti island was outstanding - particularly at sunset. Two nice cafes and a general store within easy walking distance along the seafront, while a shopping centre was 10 mins drive. Driving to Wellington was also very easy. A beautiful place for a relaxing break.

We have stayed hundreds of holiday rentals and without doubt this is a solid 5-star ppty. The ppty was super clean, amazing floor plan, all the required amenities plus much more, comfortable furniture of the highest quality and our lovely host Ruby includes various sweet delights. The decor is 5-star and it's obvious that our host is totally focused on presenting a high standard which is a credit to her professionalism and attention to detail. We firmly rate this ppty and our host Ruby a solid 5-stars but without the 5-star price. This ppty and host shoots up to one of our top 5 rentals we have booked over many years of travel. Thank you Ruby! We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this ppty and host to all.
