Vacation rentals with lake access in Rastište

Everything was perfect, the best place to stay in the region.

I was looking for a quiet, casual spot with access to hiking to spend a long weekend. I wanted to bring my dog. Goran's place was a great match. It's in a beautiful location and had the basic amenities I needed. The AirBNB directions took me to the dam on Lake Zaovine, but I located "Vila Arena" on an internet map to get the rest of the way. Goran's English and my Serbian are limited, but we managed just fine. Goran and his guests were friendly and considerate. If I had questions or requests, Goran was quick to help me. There is a mini market ~8km from the apartment and a restaurant ~2.5 km. I brought basic groceries and coffee with me, prepared those in the little kitchen and ate one meal out. I did a long walk one day and relaxed with a book in the apartment the next. On a return trip I would bring some friends to enjoy the beautiful location and a topo trail map so I could explore the off-road areas a little more. A great visit and I'm happy I went!

Отличное место с прекрасным видом из окна, когда просыпаешься утром. Очень дружелюбные хозяева, всегда отвечали на наши вопросы и помогали нам. Дом чистый, в нём есть всё необходимое: бойлер для воды, чистое белое бельё, котельная для отопления, роштиль. Хорошее место, чтобы почиллить и отдохнуть. В десяти минутах езды есть Митровац с магазином.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Great location by the river. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby (try roasted pig at Pečenjara Djordje). Keep in mind there’s some noise from the public road if you stay downstairs. And ask for a fan if it’s hot outside. Also there is cool kayak rental nearby — search for ‘Rafting & Kayaking on Drina’ on Google Maps.

Uzivali smo u produzenom vikendu na Tari kod Djordja. Iako smo bili velika grupa, kuca je lepo organizovana i nije nam falilo prostora. Najvise nam se svidelo dvoriste, koje je prostrano i ima kucicu za decu, rostilj, klupe i stolove. Deca su skoro sve vreme bila napolju. Trazili su da ostanemo da zivimo tu.

Miljana. Showed great hospitality and went a mile further. She has found some information to us and bought us transport tickets to our next destination. Score to her and apartment is 10 out of 10.

Smestaj je na jako lepoj lokaciji, na par minuta od Zaovinskog jezera. Lep i cist apartman,sa prelepim pogledom sa terase.Domacin Slobodan uvek dostupan za sve sto treba i jako ljubazan. Samo lepi utisci sa Tare :)

Были небольшие трудности с поиском, но хозяин быстро ответил и помог. Заселились с лёгкостью, было всё необходимое для приготовления еды и отдыха. Соседей почти не видели, до ближайшего жилого здания 200 метров. Потрясающий вид и дороги. Зимой лучше использовать цепи.

Comfortable and cozy stay in a peaceful area. House is clean and has everything you may need. Just be sure to get basic things such as oil if planning to cook by yourself. Highly recommended.

My parents spent one week here (and we visited them also on the weekend). There is a great place to stay, quiet and calm. Houselady was very hospitable and attentive. Milan who is the owner of the house also communicated on a friendly manner and helped to solve any issues. House has all necessary facilities, one bedroom on the ground floor and two ones upstairs. Territory is also good, you can have pleasant dinners on the terrace (if you don't want to go to one of restaurants nearby instead). The only one thing I would propose to improve is internet — unfortunately, connection was quite poor. Nature in Tara is just perfect, and definitely worths to be visited. I would recommend this place to everyone, and going to return. Thanks, Milan!
