At the end of the road, 5 km from the center of Tammisaari, there is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. The main cottage has 50 m2 of space, the guest cottage 10 m2, and the sauna 10 m2. The south-west plot has 260 m of shoreline. The long, shallow sandy beach is also well suited for the little ones in the family. The direction of the property ensures magnificent sunrises and sunsets that you can enjoy on the large 60 m2 outdoor terrace. There is also a rowboat available. Good road access all the way to the cottage. Driving distance from, for example, Iso Omena in Espoo is 80 km, 1 hour. ​From the pier you can go for a swim or admire the sunrise. Also a beautyful sandy beach is very near. A wood-fired sauna to add to the enjoyment. ​A fishing area with lots of berries in the forests.

Within a 40min drive from Helsinki, Katve Nature Retreat is our family-owned hideout surrounded by clean and quiet nature and ashore a beautiful freshwater lake. We are also located just a few km from the sea and archipelago with great hiking and paddling opportunities. The Kaisla Cabin is one of our 4 cozy cabins (two cabins semidetached) each with a private sauna. By the lake you'll find an outdoor fireplace and a summer kitchen perfect for cooking by the fire and enjoying the sunsets.

You should arrive at the cottage via road 1030, NOT via Rakuunatorpantie = wrong route + big uphill). Children under 16 years old FREE (2 children, accompanied by an adult). UNFORTUNATELY, PETS ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE COTTAGE. In the midst of the energy crisis, the electric car charge is priced separately at 15e/day. Alternatively, report the meter readings before and after your stay.

The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.
