Phil's place was a dream - tucked away from the rest of the world! When you stand in the open doorway of this 1927 log cabin, you'll look out to see only trees around you and the sky above. Turn in and find the wonderfully warm log-burning stove, unique wood detailing in each room, and the charming handmade heart-shaped lock on the door! We loved our long-term stay here, and recommend several places nearby - the Vreeland store for baked goods and great coffee, the Weis center for hiking, dessert at the nearby Soulmate cafe, and Breakbites for delicious tacos! Phil was easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond for us during our stay. He is a great host, with a beautiful place that he has evidently put a great deal of time and care into making as comfortable as possible for guests wanting to stay somewhere out of time and off the beaten path.

Our stay was excellent! Our host Alexander was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house was very clean and well kept. It is a very peaceful and beautiful environment. We most definitely come back to stay. The entire process was easy and convenient. There was lots to do around the lake house from fishing, kayaking and paddle boating. We are giving this Airbnb 5 stars and 5 stars to our wonderful hosts!

Nice place & location by the park was nice for walking. Also bagel shop across the street was convenient.

Rory‘s place is a cute house in a friendly suburban neighborhood. You’ll need a car, but most stores and restaurants are no more than five minutes away. Great for short-term rentals like househunting, job/relocation, or extended family stays.
