We spent the most blissful Holi weekend with Ganesh and his parents. The sprawling 4BHK surrounded by greenery had my heart right from the word 'go'. Ganesh was extremely helpful in arranging for pickup, asking if I wanted dinner the night I was reaching or checking if I was comfortable. Ganesh's mom was the sweetest. Tai would flash us the warmest, brightest smile every morning before asking if we wanted tea. She also gave us homemade puranpoli on the occasion of Holi. The location is peaceful with Bhandarpule beach within walking distance. We also took an auto to visit the nearby temples, the Pracheen Konkan museum and Jaigad Fort. Anil kaka and his wife made the yummiest Konkani food for us at an extremely reasonable cost. Anil was also sweet enough to buy us Kokum or Mosambi juice whenever we went out with him. Ganesh gave us a beautiful gift hamper with cute little tasters of all things Konkan - juices, sweets, pickles, papads and what not. I can't wait to be back with my mother!

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa along the seashore, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The Villa: The highlight was definitely the spacious private balcony overlooking the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and sipping coffee with that view was pure bliss. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and designed for comfort, blending modern amenities with a coastal vibe. Location: Nestled right by the shore, it’s perfect for a peaceful retreat. You can literally step out and walk along the beach at any time. Food: If you love authentic Konkani cuisine, this place is a dream. Every meal was a delight—fresh seafood, local spices, and home-style cooking that reminded me of traditional coastal kitchens. Hospitality: The hosts were incredibly pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us as we traveled with our dog. The staff offered excellent service—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.

Had the pleasure of spending 1 night and 2 days at 'TerraKot Farmhouse'. Definitely, one of my most grand homestay experience. Great view, Great Place & Great Service !!! A huge hall, 3 bedrooms with attached balconies, a small Library; a valley-facing deck, swimming pool, open area to enjoy breakfast and nice walking/hiking spots. In short, a bit for everyone. The view from the deck was the highlight of the place for me. The local delicacies prepared by the warm locals with fresh and organic vegetables made the experience even better. It was a true "farm to table" experience !! All said, dont expect a 5 star property; expect an occasional visitor (like a lizard-spider); Wear & tear due to environmental elements are visible (on door/windows); Also be prepared to be intimidated by the Silence & darkness of nature. Truly A GEM of a place in the middle of nowhere, waiting to be explored. Thanks Ashwini for the hosting us. Hoping to visit again for another mesmerizing experience !!

Rajwardhan's farm is a huge property, and ideal for those who are seeking serenity. He along with his staff are super hospitable and make sure your are having a good time. Its a thoughtfully planned and managed place, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful villa and landscaping, yummy food and excellent service. Waking up to Chirping of birds, spotting peacocks, strolling around the farm, and the River around the farm are some of the super awesome experiences. For agro enthusiast they have many varieties of crops and also a hydrophonics section. There is no/ limited mobile network coverage there...a boon in disguise.

Vikrant was incredibly helpful, kind & always present to guide us, share stories, and ensure we didn’t miss a single special moment. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked meals. Vikrant is a fantastic cook. His parents were just as wonderful — so loving, friendly, and genuinely caring. Their presence added so much warmth to our stay. What made this stay truly unforgettable were the little thoughtful gestures: from showing us secret local spots to guiding us to see the magical fireflies at night — an absolutely surreal moment. Dada also shared deep & beautiful insights about nature around us, making us feel deeply connected to the surroundings. Meeting such a talented, grounded & loving family was an experience in itself. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a soulful, offbeat & unforgettable gateway.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, but this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The riverside property is peaceful, scenic, and exactly as shown in the photos—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s easy to find and away from the city chaos. Mr. Sitaram and his family were incredibly warm and helpful, always responsive and ready with great local recommendations. Even in his absence, his daughter ensured everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this place for families, friends, or travelers looking for peace and comfort!

The reason we chose this homestay in konkan despite having multiple other options on the malvan side is we wanted to experience the typical “Konkani-Stay” and this is what exactly we found in Jayant Kaka’s home stay. The house is well preserved and maintained and you get that homely feel. Surroundings are peaceful, away from the chaos still near to the local market. Mithbhav beach is 5 mins away from the place. Me and my family really loved this place. Jayant is a full of experiences and love to help is in all the possible ways. If you are looking for something different apart from regular hotel stays and want to experience the homely feeling then this is the place.

Amazing property in the central part of Ratnagiri. The beach, the market, the fort, the station, the bus stand - everything is 5-10mins away. The room has amazing views and is very well maintained. Car/Bike parking facility is available too. From the top floor of the bungalow, you can see the sea. Highly recommended.
