Vacation rentals with lake access in Rains County

We had a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway experiences. The house itself is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The spacious living area is perfect for gathering with family, while the large windows provide stunning views of the lake, especially at sunset. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is another highlight, featuring a lovely patio, a fire pit for evening gatherings, and direct access to the lake for fishing and kayaking. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I recommend the Lake House. If you're looking for a getaway, a family vacation, or a fun trip with friends, this place has it all. I can't wait to return for another wonderful escape!

We were in the area for wedding and this place looked like a peaceful place to stay. The drawback is that you are out away from most establishments. The place was everything we expected. Thanks!

Great place to stay. It was very clean, roomy and had easy access to the grocery store, gas station and restaurants. We already booked our stay for next years fishing trip!!

Neighborhood looked a little trashy but didn’t have any problems

Nice house, a little dated on the interior but it's quaint, clean and easy to access. No WIFI/Cable but AT&T cell service was just fine.

This place was great and exactly as how it was in the pictures. We were there for a 4 day weekend fishing trip with a group of 5 and the place accomodated us very well. Clean beds, big open living room and kitchen and nice dock. The owner was very responsive and notified us of the dock having electrical issues. I asked if they could run extension cords down to the dock because we had rented out some fishing boats and needed them charged. They accommodated the request and fixed the electrical short the next day. We enjoyed the place and had a great fishing trip.

We had a family reunion of 20 people from multiple states! This place was perfect and had plenty of space for us all! Private dock and boat ramp were great for swimming and fishing! Beautiful, open space outdoors for playing games or just enjoying the view! Pool table was a definite plus! We will definitely be back!

I needed a place to just unwind and relax for a couple of days. I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature, scenic, and go fishing! This place was all of the above and then some. (There's also a very nice golf course just down the street) Mike and Sheryl make you feel right at home. They are both very friendly and kind. They kept their fridge stocked with drinks and breakfast foods. There is also a coffeemaker, microwave, and toaster in the common/kitchenette area. I even caught my biggest catfish off their brand new dock! (5lbs). I will definitely be back for another stay. I highly recommend staying at Mike & Sheryl's lake side house.

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary weekend getaway. Booking was simple and easy. The host was very friendly and clear with instructions. The tiny home itself was breathtakingly BEEautiful. Every detail was meticulously planned out when decorating and making use of the space. We loved walking into the home where we were met with smooth jazz playing and a bright cheery atmosphere. This was just the relaxing break we needed from everyday life. The location was great and we especially enjoyed how private and cozy the back porch is. We spent most of our time there. The lake is a stones throw away and we were able to walk down to a public dock. Sunset on the lake was beautiful! Our host graciously recommended Roma’s Italian restaurant and I had the best lemon cake ever! Also, Pj’s gas stop has Hunt Bros pizza and that is a favorite of mine. We truly enjoyed ourselves and the comfort of the home. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay!

We loved the lakeside cabin! So cozy especially with all the rain! My husband and brother-in-law really enjoyed being able to step out the back door to go fishing. Close to Canton and several other really cute Texas towns for antique hunting, great restaurants, etc. We will definitely go again!!

We stayed one night and it was a great place! The kids enjoyed the outdoors and we caught some fish.

Beautiful family retreat with access to the most peaceful lake. Trips on the paddle boat, the fire pit, great handout and sleeping spaces make this an ideal spot for holidays and vacations. I highly recommend and hope to return! The place is very clean, well stocked (no dishwasher though!), bedding is comfy and plentiful, and the host is excellent and helpful!
