Monthly Rentals in Raccoon Island

Anthony's tiny house bungalow on Racoon Island was perfect for us. Stunning views off the deck. Easy to use kitchenette. Simple, but very comfortable bathroom. And a very comfortable bed. So well situated and so many windows we never needed the AC. The lake access, the kayaks, and the lifejackets provided were great as well. The location, the ferry ride, the almost hidden driveway, it all made it feel very exclusive and adventurous. So peaceful and dark at night, sleeping was a dream. The sunrises are spectacular. I watched them every morning from the private deck. Anthony was a great host. Gave great directions for finding the place, the check-in, and the check-out. He answered questions quickly and very informatively. We had a fantastic time, are already planning a return, and have shared the listing with multiple friends for them to use as well.

Our two-day escape to the front-lake house was pure bliss! We spent evenings by the crackling firepit, gazing at the stars. The fishing deck was a dream, offering a relaxing spot to cast a line and soak in the tranquility. Having two kayaks meant we could both explore the lake at our leisure, surrounded by stunning views. This house is a perfect getaway for a short and rejuvenating break.

This was my third stay at Michael's Little Red Cabin and every time it gets harder to leave. Close to NYC so it's very easy to get to but feels like a million miles away. Peaceful and quiet, just what was needed. I finally got to meet Michael and he is even more friendly in person. All in all if I could give it 10 stars I would.

This was just what we needed. A nice escape from the city. The lake is gorgeous and the quiet was phenomenal. Not gonna lie the steps are a workout, but since that was the only con, it was a totally worth it. Besides, meant I didn’t have to worry about missing workouts. The apartment was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean. When I had any questions, they were answered immediately. Thank you so much for a great stay.
