Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

All really good with Luis. He was very helpful from the begining. The house was perfect for what we needed. We hihgly recomend it.

João is an excellent host, he provided us with the tips about how to best see Azores in the 4 days that we were there and was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is much larger than we expected, each room is spacious including the kitchen and the two bathrooms. Each room has a sliding door to the balcony the size of which is more like a terrace. The location is quiet and the downtown Ponta Delgada is accessible in 15 minutes of walking. Grocery stores are nearby. The apartment has everything to the last detail, nothing is amiss, down to the laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets., and Q-tips. And if you need anything, João is only a one text away.

This was definetely the BEST AirBNB that we have ever had and propably ever will. José, the host, is just such a nice guy, he gave us a very warm welcome when arriving and he was flexible with his time and arranged to be there when we arrived. He gave so many great recommendations for food and activities on the whole island. This is exactly what you need when you are completely new to a place! He even noticed my birthday during the stay and gave me a present. This was so sweet, THANK YOU AGAIN!!! Also for our checkout he said goodbye to us personally the evening before. It was just so great. The house itself also has everything that you need. Everything was super clean and the view from the balcony is just so wonderful. Also the house was cleaned every 3rd day, which is a big benefit compared to other AirBNBs. It just felt like home from the first minute. If we will come back to Sao Miguel we will for sure return to Slope House. Thank you José and hope to see you again some day! :)

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the location was perfect. We walked to the local market, cheese store and butcher and there were a couple small grocery stores within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and sites within walking distance as well. The garage worked well for us and the entry in and out of the building was seamless. The view front the outdoor deck was incredible and an absolute bonus to enjoy. The cooking facilities were excellent and the glasses, plates , knives etc were plentiful and in great condition. The unit was incredibly clean and functional and you could tell there was a lot of thought that went into making it perfect for guests. It was our pleasure to stay there and if we ever make our way back to this lovely city, we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Airbnb ideally located on the island to access all the sites. The pool is very nice and the accommodation has everything you need for a very nice stay! Hosts are kind, discreet and very responsive to the slightest request. We had a wonderful and memorable stay, Thank you 🙏

Our stay at Pedro’s place was superb! The space is beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy and the town itself is quite walkable. Highly recommend

Vera’s place was incredible! They were super responsive, gave great reviews and even left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a guidebook for our stay! The home is beautiful and being able to relax by the pool or lounge space outside before heading for dinner was the cherry on top! Would 100% recommend staying here

What an incredible stay! São Miguel is a fantastic location — stunning nature, amazing views, and so much to explore. The accommodation had everything we needed and more; it was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Our host was absolutely wonderful — super kind, helpful, and always available, even giving us great restaurant recommendations (which turned out to be some of the best meals we've had!). We had a truly fantastic stay at Chez Marie! We could not have been happier with the house, the location, and Marie’s friendly and responsive hosting. The house is lovely inside and out, with beautiful stone and plaster work inside, stunning views from every window, and a beautiful back garden where we enjoyed our coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountains every morning. The location is also perfect - easily walkable to everything in Furnas but outside of the town center enough to be completely peaceful and quiet. The town of Furnas itself very charming with plenty to do and see, and centrally located great so a place to launch adventures all around São Miguel. Marie is a terrific host! We really appreciated her helpful recommendations of restaurants, sights and activities, and her quick and friendly responses to our questions. We loved our trip so much we are already dreaming of when we can come back to the Azores, and we would love to stay at Chez Marie again.

What a beautiful home!! It is in a great location, with a gorgeous view of the coastline from the spacious deck and from inside the home. Everything was provided, we did not need to contact Fatima for anything during our stay. She let us enter the unit before check-in when we arrived earlier than expected. The place is very clean and well kept, you can tell that she takes pride in her home. She left a goodie basket of local food items on the counter which was delicious and very much appreciated! If you plan on staying in Sao Miguel, I would highly recommend this place!

As older family members we couldn't be happier. Sven is a welcoming host and easy to approach. Nothing was out of his purview. The home is warm, clean and complete, but mostly the view is beyond expectations. The location is central to all on the island and we felt at home. Happy to stay in as well as explore. Sven's restaurant list was a plus as well as all things covered on his "list". I definitely expect to return and would hope to stay at Casa de Ilheu.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisabete’s home! Her communication was excellent and always timely, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. She went above and beyond with her thoughtful recommendations for places to eat and must-see spots around the island, which truly enhanced our trip. The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful. Elisabete is a fantastic host and we’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Andre’s place! From the very beginning, he was incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. He took the time to advise us both before and during our trip, helping with car rental, restaurant recommendations, and much more. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of authentic charm, and very well maintained. One of the true highlights is the extraordinary sea view, simply breathtaking at any time of day. We felt completely at home and truly cared for. This was a memorable experience, and we very honestly recommend staying at Andre’s home. Thank you again Andre!

The apartment fully matches its description. There are three proper bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two identical single beds. Additionally, there’s a bunk bed in the living room. The balcony is very beautiful, and there’s a parking space in a gated area, which is very convenient. The only thing to note is that the entrance to the parking is quite narrow, but we had a fairly large car and still managed fine. The hosts were very pleasant, responsive, and always quick to reply. The apartment was clean, and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this place for any type of guest.

Loved our stay! There was a bit of an ant problem but we’re pretty sure that was due to the weather/season. Sara is a lovely host, and was very clear in her messages.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views, modern, clean, well kept, well appointed. Laundry a plus. Had eggs and wine available to us at check in! Parking is a little tricky to get through the gate and orient the car so that it is easier to drive out but we figured it out quickly. Great location near airport and restaurants. Luis was very proactive about towels and linens.
