Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Rio de Janeiro

Host is very nice, available, and understanding. 5 minute walk to Ipanema, 5 minute walk to lower Copacabana. Everything in apartment is up to standard.

Priscila was the perfect host and deserves more than five stars for being very responsive, friendly and thoughtful. The promptness and quality of her communications puts the five star hotels we have stayed in during this trip to shame. The location is peaceful and very secure and there is a private, first-line view of the beach and sea beyond from the balcony. It’s easy to get around the area, or to and from Rio, using a well known online ride service - but if you have hired a car, the parking is on-site and covered. A little far to walk to most places if like me you are past your prime but that makes it more peaceful and secure while you are here. A great way to finish our travels, very highly recommended.

Exceptional stay, starting with the reception, with in-person check-in, where we were guided and all questions and clarifications were answered, local places were presented and they were ready to assist us, the place is cozy, it contained everything that was in the description, I highly recommend it and I will return when I am in town. Security with 24-hour doorman, the only point to be mentioned is something that does not depend only on the Host, the building is old, has two elevators and one broke down (but it was resolved in less than 4 hours) and the second is out of service, but this issue depends more on the building's management.

My mom and I really enjoyed staying at Millia's beautiful condo, a few blocks away from Ipanema beach. The neighborhood felt safe and close to nice restaurants. Milla was also very communicative throughout our stay.

Alexandre is simply the perfect host, always helpful before, during and even after check-outs. The apartment itself was perfect. Everything was perfect, from cleaning to check-in and check-out. It's pretty much down to the beach so the location couldn't be better. I enjoyed my little 14 days there and will most likely come back

This was a great stay. Would definitely stay again. The rooms, pool and yard were beautiful too. It is a little bit away from all the things happening for carnival but only 10/15 min and uber is so cheap that it was absolutely perfect. Being able to be in carnival chaos and get away to peace and quiet was amazing actually. Especially compared with hotels or other Airbnb options 100% would recommend!

Great stay! Matt was super helpful and accommodating, even through our accidentals. There was more than enough space for the 9 people that stayed in the home. We loved the authenticity and views the house had to offer. We felt safe and secure at all times. the house is on a mountain so there aren’t any stores or restaurants walking distance but Ubers are super cheap! This is a great house for someone that just wants a beautiful nature retreat. The house could have used a deep clean & there were bugs that found their way in, but we knew were in the jungle so we brought raid! Overall we had a great stay & would recommend for sure 👍🏾

We loved our stay at Sérgio's place! I went with friends and the house perfectly met our needs — comfortable, well-equipped and in great condition. The location was also a strong point: being close to the subway station made it a lot easier and allowed us to access the entire city with ease. Sérgio was very attentive, gave us great tips about Rio and has a high spirit that makes everything lighter. We hope to come back again!

The house is a dream! The architecture mixes with the nature of the surrounding garden, it is even more beautiful in person. The region, although away from many points of Rio, is of an unparalleled peace and privacy! My friends and I spent 2 days at the house and enjoyed it all! We only miss spices to have a barbecue, nothing that would compromise the experience, but here's the tip for the owner, a little salt of nothing would work for us haha, but again, note 10!
