Marcelo is a great host, always very responsive, welcomed us in such a generous way, prepared a top of the line breakfast, loved it. talking about the house and great, and exactly what we expected, the room is perfect, you don't want to leave that place, loved every second. Soon I intend to return. recommend it very muchoooooo.

Felipe and his housekeeper Jussara were attentive and satisfied us since the check-in - with the presentation of the property and a warm welcome! I rented 2 suites for an important mission: MAKING OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM. Yes! I got married on Ilha da Gigóia on Jan 7 and had important support from the owner for everything I needed! We even invite Felipe to our Ceremony and Wedding Reception! It was all very good! I recommend it for the location, the beauty of the property, the calm of the place, for the readiness and affection of the housekeeper, for the whole. We are thankful to bring a souvenir of the house and the island in our photos; forever!

Nelci's place is fantastic, in a bohemian no-through street, apart from all the noise of Rio, but right at the heart of the botanical garden, close to the lagoon and a 30 minutes bike ride from the beaches of Ipanema. She's a great host and the place if in perfect conditions.

Lucia's place is amazing and is an extension of Lucia excellent, awesome and amazing easy to get along with, good hearted down to earth woman, enjoyed the space and her housekeeper fun funny and excellent housekeeper. Had a few laughs with the Gardner who seemed to love his work even in the heat 🥵. Excellent all around stay with swimming pool as well to cool off. Air-conditioner and fan in bedroom was a nice added oasis with it being so hot!

Julia was very kind and welcoming. She was very easy to communicate with and was always available when we needed her. The accommodation matches the photos and has everything you need for a great time in Santa Teresa. Thank you again for kindness and hospitality. I would recommend it 100%

Place was clean and beautifully design. The views are fabulous and the house keepers were friendly and polite. There are quite a few steps to get to the room but I didn’t mind the exercise.

The apartment is cozy and comfortable, with everything we need to feel at home. But what really made the difference was Sandra's warm and attentive welcome. I had a fantastic two-week stay at Miriam and Marcelo's cozy apartment in Leme. The location is outstanding - just two blocks from the beach, with easy access to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and taxis. Plus, the neighborhood is peaceful and safe. The building's front door staff is available around the clock, ensuring security while being exceptionally friendly and responsive. The apartment itself is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a short stay, and everything worked perfectly during my visit. Marcelo and Miriam are wonderful hosts - super responsive, incredibly helpful, and even shared detailed instructions and video guides to make your stay in Rio seamless. The apartment is quiet, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable, perfect for a restful night after a long day exploring the city. I highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a tranquil neighborhood with quick and easy access to the beach!

Athos is a super host. The place is very beautiful and clean, full of gadgets, air conditioning TV etc. You can see that the apartment is his own for how he takes care of it. Also the communication was very nice, and he is the father (also wonderful person, they took us on a tour. One of the best stays I've ever had on Airbnb

We stayed 10 days in Rio and stayed in the apartment of Lucía. We welcomed Andresa, a friend of Lucía, a charming person. The reception is spotless, the apartment is spotless, the location is excellent. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, 300 meters from the beach and 100 meters from " La Lagoa" that you can ask for more. God willing that we can go back🙏🫶. Thank you for everything.

The neighborhood had a charming, small-community feel, free from the usual tourist crowds, which made it even more special. The property itself was perfect—beautifully maintained, with spacious and private rooms. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit and delicious offerings each morning. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible family who runs it. Their hospitality is unmatched; they welcomed me with open arms, making me feel safe, cared for, and completely at home. It was clear they simply wanted me to have the best experience possible, and they went above and beyond to make that happen. Would absolutely stay here again!
