Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Rio de Janeiro

The house is very spacious. The pool area, barbecue and garden was excellent for family gatherings. The caretaker (sorry, but I forgot his name) was very helpful and friendly. He brought the goats to visit us and even offered to milk them on the spot. One thing to note is that the garage only fits one car. If there's more than one car, the others should stay on the street. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. The location was very useful for a party at the Carioca Mansion in Alto da Boa Vista. The house is surrounded by the Atlantic forest and its inhabitants always appear there - monkeys, coatis, various birds and mosquitoes as well (it is important to bring repellent).

Amazing property with the best view I’ve ever seen in my life! The beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was lovely. It was a great welcoming with peacocks and other wildlife outside. Only downside would say is the little expensive compared to other similar places we stayed but the view makes up for it. Location is out the way and we really struggled to order deliveries with them taking ages so bring food and drink with you

It's not just a home. It's a home! We feel the love that the owners deposit in the place. We were very well received, the space is excellent (exactly as advertised). Host is very attentive and responsive. The stay was perfect.

The place is amazing!! it's in a breathtaking location with a great view. i really enjoyed my time here. you might even see monkeys. make sure to book a taxi when going to the home and make sure you have your necessities as it is naturally a difficult area to get to. but Pontal even found me a ride when I needed on quickly. great host. I would stay again!

Loved our stay at Leonardo's. The house is very cozy and comfortably hosted 8 people (I think it can accommodate up to 10) with 4.5 bathrooms. The patio outside is completely blocked from outside access and the pool was really nice. The property manager was very helpful and responsive and came to clean the pool on the second day. The house is half a block away from the beach and kiosque which was really nice.

You can live, but there are nuances. Very friendly, but difficulties with transport accessibility.

This is an exceptional house: Christ the Redeemer on one side, Pão de Azucar on the other - exceptional view therefore; a huge and fabulous ground floor; terraces with sublime views; a small swimming pool for dipping. The spaces are spacious and pleasant: Everything is well furnished. Vitor, who has everything, is very attentive. And we also had the immense pleasure of meeting Marie's son who takes great care to maintain and develop this exceptional place. We had a party with Breislien friends who were impressed with the place. Small downside however: to go shopping and get to lively places, a short 10-minute walk or an Uber is required. The privilege of solitude and the view comes at a low price.

We really like… attentive host, place with great value and reasonably cost trade!!! The beach in front is the high point!

The apartment is beautiful, very clean and super organized — I really felt at home, and my pets too! The location is excellent, with markets, shopping malls and pharmacies very close by. If I go back to Rio, I'll definitely stay there again. Rita and Ricardo were amazing hosts: they explained everything clearly and made us feel super comfortable.

The stay at Teresa's flat was IMPECCABLE! We went to Lady Gaga's show and it made our experience even more remarkable and unforgettable! The apartment is extremely comfortable and complete! Teresa was proactive from the start of the reservation until checkout. The location is excellent, the kitchen utensils are super complete and the apartment has an entire internal and external infrastructure for an excellent stay! I loved the stay, a good place, close to everything, market, cafeteria, açaí shop, snack bars and bars!! Paulo is a great host, always responded quickly, very nice people and was very flexible with my check-in and check-out times! I'll be back more often for sure.

Very nice flat in the beautiful Flamengo district! The apartment is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a very good washing machine, and air conditioning in the dining room. The building is located in a great neighborhood with cafes and supermarkets nearby, yet it’s very quiet. Lucinda was very responsive and friendly :) As for minor drawbacks, the kitchen has a rather small working surface, and the bedroom air conditioner is a bit old and slightly noisy.

We had a perfect stay! The place was exactly as described, everything was very clean, organized and comfortable. Attentive and helpful host. We recommended and would come back for sure!

Amazing! The location is the best. I really liked the apartment, which is completely the same. We had a 24/7 “Super” (Market). It's just a few meters from the beach. I highly recommend it since the person at the entrance (Guard) is super approachable, friendly, cordial, always ready to help. Excellent apartment, very clean, very full kitchen. The unbeatable location just three blocks away from Copacabana. The Host is always available, great attention. The only thing to consider is that in the common areas there is no air conditioning, and in two of the pieces the noise of the air conditioners is very loud and it can cost to fall asleep.
