Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Queenstown Hill

Jodie and Renee's place was absolutely stunning. The views are even better than the photos. We spent a lot of time lake and plane watching on the deck. The home was beautiful and spacious with a spotless kitchen and bathroom. Also had great personality.

Was a great property to stay with multiple families. Had a birthday lunch and the kitchen was well equipped to handle it. Had some minor issue with the wifi connection for the tv but didn’t hinder the stay. Well recommended.

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay & everything the property and surrounds had to offer! Thanks Fiona!

Incredible house with the most amazing views. The fantastic floor plan was perfect for our large group, comfortable beds and great shower pressure. Sally is a super thoughtful and responsive host and even had ballons and welcome treats for a birthday celebration. 10 minute walk to town was very convenient. Highly reccomend and would stay again.

Ina’s place was absolutely incredible - so close to Frankton and Queenstown and was the perfect home base for our holiday. I can’t recommend their place enough if you’re coming to stay in Queenstown. Ina was very responsive and gave some amazing local recommendations. A+++

Michael's house is next level for a stay in Queenstown. Everything in the house is beautiful, and feels luxurious. The views are spectacular and makes it hard to want to leave. It is truly a special place to visit and spend time.

The view from Paul and Cat’s home was out of this world. Every morning we were greeted with a view that is straight out of a postcard. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Paul and Cat were very helpful and prompt in their communications. We enjoyed our stay here!

What a gem, tucked above the cookie cutter apartments you have a thoughtfully curated nook to nestle into for your time in Queenstown. An easy walk to town and a short Uber home if the hill seems unnecessary at the end of an evening. We spent delightful hours watching the light over the lake and soaking in the spa.

The best Airbnb stay we have had to date! Such a beautiful property right on the lake with water views. The property has access to the Queenstown trail that takes you directly to Queenstown and connects to many other beautiful trails that you can walk/bike. The property is exactly as described but the photos do not do it justice - we will definitely be back!

Perfect home base for exploring Queenstown. Walking distance to the Onsen Pools and great food options. Porch has great views of the Shot Over River and the surrounding area. Super spacious and comfortable!

Adrian , thank you. I am always nervous when I am travelling out side the country and with kids. But having your place made us feel like I never left home and allowed us to enjoy New Zealand free from worries. I will recommend Adrian place to anyone so you can feel like you are at home but in New Zealand. We will God willing come back and try to stay here again if it’s available. Love it.

Tim’s place was absolutely stunning! The views are incredible and the home is the perfect size. We’re a young family with a toddler and the space was excellent, the front deck overlooking Shotover was a great spot to burn toddler energy. It was easy to find, Tim’s directions were clear and easy to understand. Close to Queenstown itself but also to Arrowtown which was perfect.

Nicola’s place was very comfortable with short drive to city centre and supermarket. The apartment comes with a parking garage which was nice to have. Everything was very clean with professionally cleaned amenities (linens, towels, etc). Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit queenstown. Thank you for being an amazing host!

Cindy's place was just perfect for what we were looking for. Great for an Autumn stay with easy access to Queenstown, Arrowtown and the trail network. Cindy has put on the electric blanket with our late arrival - when we saw her the next day she was super friendly and welcoming. We spent the days hiking and riding bikes with great food at Sherwood and Ayrburn. Also recommend b'fast at the Bespoke Kitchen.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Bonnie’s place in Queenstown! The home was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The views were stunning and the space was both cozy and spacious — ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Bonnie was a wonderful host: warm, responsive, and thoughtful. You can tell she really cares about her guests having the best possible experience. We all loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Excellent communication, and entry instruction from Owner. Apartment was as listed, no surprises or disappointments. Short walk to supermarket/shops. We hired a vehicle. The car space provided was well positioned, and able to be locked when we were out, bonus. Side note: $10pp cash for 5min local bus to/from airport without a travel BeeCard. We stayed 2 nights in Queenstown and 3 nights with a vehicle at this AirBnB, overall I was very pleased with my choice. Recommend, Yes.

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.
