We absolutely loved our stay at Rita’s carriage. After a long drive, it was well-worth it to see their beautiful property, watch the sunset and feel right at home. The whole family was lovely, and were very happy for us to wander around, patting the horses and admiring their land. The bath under the stars was an absolute winner, as was the fire place already set to go. The carriage itself was well-equipped with whatever we needed, nice and clean and lots of interesting things to read/look at and play some pool. The breakfast hamper which Rita brought over was a lovely touch. Thank you again Rita and the family! We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Anna & Jordon 😊

We stayed here for a stop over between SA and Sydney and although we only stayed one night this stay exceeded our expectations. From the moment you walk in the cottage is so cosy, styled beautifully, incredibly well cleaned and with so many beautiful touches like Sheridan linen, diffusers and fresh flowers that make this such an incredible stay. The bottle of wine and breakfast items were so unexpected and appreciated. The fully fenced backyard and porch was great for our dogs and the location was in walking distance to some lovely restaurants and cafes. The home has premium cookware and appliances and really has everything you could possibly need for a longer stay. I couldn’t recommend this stay more highly and would love to come back for a weekend away!

Loved our stay at the McCrae house. It has a very welcoming and homely feel to it. It was great to be back on Barellan and catch up with friends and after a long day was so nice to come home to our accommodation at the McCrae house. We will definitely choose to stay there again on our next visit.

We had a great stay at Sloans country home, the house had great amenities, absolutely anything you needed could be found. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front verandah taking in the views of Junee. Justine’s place was absolutely perfect! Super cute, cosy, and the ideal nook to unwind after a long drive. The bed was incredibly comfy - one of the best sleeps I’ve had in ages. Everything felt so welcoming and peaceful. Bonus: there’s a delicious Italian restaurant just around the corner! Would definitely stay again.

The Q Cottage is a country paradise. We had a wonderful stay and felt at home from the moment we walked in. The beds were super comfy, the house was styled beautifully and it is obvious a great deal of care and thought has gone into making the cottage a perfect home away from home. Walking distance to the local supermarket, the cheese shop and the many lovely little gift stores & cafes in Coolamon. A great place to stop for a few days and about half way between Melbourne and Sydney. Wendie and Pete were wonderful hosts and we hope to return one day!

We had a fabulous stay at Sue’s place. The accommodation was beautifully clean but also felt comfortable and felt like being at home. Sue was very helpful. Beautiful touches like cookies and chocolates. The home has so much history and is in an excellent location. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Sue and John

what an absolute gem of a stay! we were very comfortable there with a family of 4 (kids 9 and 10). we walked to the Bidgee for dinner, and enjoyed a walk around the town, spending ages chatting to the bookstore owner selecting new books for our holiday. The place is a short drive to the wetlands and koala walk and historic railway bridge, all highly recommended. The street wasn't noisy, no evening shenanigans (which can sometimes be the case when staying in town). We were blown away with the quality of the fit out, the attention to detail in how the place is stocked. I would 100% stay here again.

Our family absolutely loved our stay. The photos show how lovely the house is but it was more beautiful in person. The backyard was perfect for our kids to play and for us to store our car. The location was amazing being right in the middle of town, and within walking distance to shops, the supermarket, the park and resturants. The house had everything we needed and more. We plan on booking another stay asap and couldn't recommend this house more to anyone that hopes to stay in town.

The accomodation far exceeded our expectations. Flawlessly presented property. So much space, so peaceful. Great indoor and outdoor dining. Very quiet, private and very central. This was the perfect getaway for some respite for my family during a difficult time. Thank you Kelly! Have already recommended to other family and friends.

This was a perfect nook for our stay! It is so designed - so feels very spacious, stylish & intentional. The bed was ridiculously comfortable with high quality bedding, all areas were so clean & we had all essentials provided that we needed for our two nights! Cameron was very attentive & kind; making us feel safe & cared for! Super close to all hot spots, had plenty of recommendations for Junee. It is as per the listing. Comfortable and spacious 4 bedroom home which has a great dog friendly backyard. Good location where it is close enough to the shops but not on a highway - we found it very quiet. Bread was a bonus. We stayed there on our way to Adelaide and on our way back - very consistent.

The Overdale Suite comes with some very interesting history. From the pictures, I thought it was going to be like an older and partially run down property. I was wrong. The inside does stick to some of its heritage however it is extremely nice. Whilst some rooms feel quite cramped, ie Kitchen and Lounge, the oversized shower and spa rooms are impressive to say the least. The bedrooms are decent in size. Bed was extremely comfortable. The pool/area & tennis court need some TLC. The tennis court is unusable (not that we wanted to use it) due to grass and weeds and generally looks run down. The pool is nice but again, needs some TLC. The pool needs to be drained and resurfaced. The outside around the pool needs to be tidied up also. Long weeds and grass which was constantly blowing into the pool. I cleaned it twice before swimming. Could not find the switch for pools lights or they do not work. Overall, this place is great and would stay here again.
