Great cozy place to stay! Super clean and great location. Catherine was great to communicate with and plenty of space for humans and pups! Fireplace is lovely! Only note, is internet occasionally dips out. This is important only if you plan to work or join zoom calls. You may get disconnected.

We had a great stay here. It was the perfect size for two families. (4 adults, 5 kids) The bonus room for the kids makes it very comfortable. We also loved the huge mudroom for shoes, jackets, etc. In my opinion, 3 families would be tough, but doable. Overall, great house, location, and host!

Michelle’s cabin was perfect for our family. Lots of space. The layout with the 2 bedrooms downstairs and large loft and 2 bedrooms upstairs was great. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Great location within Tahoe Donner. Bring an eye mask for sleeping in the master. There is a large, blind free high window (I’m not an early riser 😉). Michelle was by far the most responsive host I’ve experienced, which is a huge plus when it comes to Airbnb.

We came to Truckee with our 5 children, ages 1 - 8, for some snow play, and we had a great time. We found some nearby places to sled and there was lots of snow for playing in at the cabin itself. We were looking for a place without stairs and that was kid-friendly, and this cabin was a perfect fit. Thank you!

The house was cozy and well equipped. Ken was extremely responsive and it was wonderful to arrive in a snowstorm to find the lights on and the house well heated. The neighborhood is very convenient to Truckee and ski resorts, and of course, Donner Lake. We loved our stay and will certainly come back.

Tahoe Retreat: Newly Renovated

We had a great stay with two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, play, eat and relax. The main level has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Heads up that the top bunk doesn’t have a guard rail so wouldn’t put any kids up there. We moved the mattress to the ground for sleeping. The upstairs has a lovely master with king bed and en suite bathroom and sectional couch great for reading / relaxing in seclusion. There’s an additional living unit located inside the garage that we didn’t end up using but would be convenient for additional guests that don’t mind being separated by a walk up the staircase. We cooked two meals a day, did laundry and were able to find everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Property manager was very prompt in answering all questions from booking through to what do I do with the garbage (answer: put it in the bear box in the driveway). Would gladly come back again!
