Waterfront vacation rentals in Punta Umbría

Fabulous! The view from the spacious living room and bedroom was wonderful - tall palms jutting from a green oasis before Sanlúcar’s rooftops, sweeping beach and nature reserve. This apartment in a historic, beautifully restored building in the old town - just minutes from incredible bodegas - is highly recommended. A lovely calm space including well-equipped terrace and all amenities including a washing machine. It felt like airbnbs as they used to be - and one of the best - someone’s personally designed but not cluttered home, as opposed to the increasingly common ikea-identitikit. It’s worth staying a few days at least to savour sanlucar - a fabulous small town with a lot of history, outdoor delights and unique air infused in some places with manzanilla! (served in the great restaurants in the charming town square. Next time we will stay longer. Ps the lovely terrace entrance (just duck!) has views of the church cupola, nesting storks & rooftops plus a slice of sea.

It was a lovely apartment, very clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the balcony. It was also close to the old town and marina. We had agreat time and would like to return in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment in Faro! The space was exactly as pictured - bright, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, making self-catering a breeze. The balcony was a real highlight, and we had one of our most comfortable sleeps here. We also really appreciated the flexibility with late check-out, and it was lovely to have a friendly chat with the cleaner before we left. Highly recommended!

Very nice apartment in a great location, with a great view and near to restaurants and the market. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The underground parking and rooftop pools/terrace were a bonus. Overall we had great week in the apartment and would thoroughly recommend it for stay in Olhao.

Very good stay. The apartment was very clean, matches the description and offers everything you need to feel comfortable. Communication with Juan has also been quick and easy.

The host, Ann, was very nice. Good communication and informative. Good kitchen facilities. Washing machine for laundry and clothes line on terrace. Great sea views and amazing sunsets from the balcony. Great walks along the multiple boardwalks leading to beaches and the inlet where the fishing boats go to Isla Christina. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Patricia's apartment is perfect for a quiet stay on Isla Canela. It is tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped, down to the last detail, and everything is completely new and of high quality. The views from the whole house are amazing. We weren't very lucky with the weather, but just being in the living room and enjoying the ocean view was worth it. Patricia was attentive at all times to anything we needed. This will certainly be our apartment of reference for our visits to Isla Canela.

We had a great time despite the average weather, the apartment is in a great location, quiet, the view is amazing, close to all shops and very good restaurants nearby Maria welcomed us in person, she is really adorable, welcoming, and explained everything to us, I can't wait to go back to Ayamonte, charming little town and especially to Maria's apartment, thank you again for your kindness we were able to get a change of scenery thanks to you

Beautiful part of Portugal . The house is in easy walking distances of marina and restaurants etc Mini market 50yards ! And beautiful hotel casa amor next block . Would definitely return

Very nice apartment with a great roof terrace and hot tub. From the apartment, restaurants, supermarkets and ferry are easily and quickly accessible. Arthur is a great host and always supported us quickly and kindly.

Carlos is an incredible host and he made me feel right at home from the start. The place is absolutely stunning, really. I travel a lot and this is by far my favorite AirBnb I’ve ever been to. Trust me, it’s exactly like the pictures but even better !!! Sanlucar is also a very special place and if you’re into Xérès you’ve definitely come to the right place. What a large house! 3 terraces and 3 large bedrooms together with a fully equipped kitchen and nice living space. Lovely to stay and easy communication. We will come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Ana’s place, such a peaceful & quiet place. In less than 2 minutes we were between the trees with our dogs. We had everything we needed in the house, clean & cosy.

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

Teresa is amazing - the place is terrific. Really well located yet quiet. I’m a quite tall so I am not always suitable for Portuguese homes, but the home is perfect in every way. Very quaint very clean and very comfortable.

It was the second time I stayed at José Carlos' apartment. Once again, everything impeccable. Excellent location, very clean and fabulous terrace. José Carlos is always available to answer any questions. I recommend it without hesitation. I hope to return soon!

The accommodation is just as shown in the photos, spectacular. Ideal for a couple. Very easy and quick to communicate with Ana and Jesus, who recommended places to visit and restaurants in the area. We'll repeat.

Everything was great, the apartment was small but cozy and had everything you needed. We came by bus and the owner's partner picked us up by car so we didn't have to carry our luggage. He left us some cocoa as a gift that smelled great and some beers. Carmen is friendly and very attentive.

Jorge's apartment is very nice, clean and comfortable. The apartment has great view and it is walking distance to Faro Old Town. We have enjoyed our stay. In addition, Jorge is an exceptionally helpful host, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jorge again for all the help he provided during our stay in Faro. On the day we arrived, he met us at the bus station and took us to the rental car place to pick up the car. At the end of our trip in Faro, he took us to the train station, and when we found out that all trains were cancelled that day due to a strike, he took us to the bus station and waited until we bought the right tickets and everything was sorted out. He treated us like family and he is the best host I have ever had in the past 10 years of Airbnb experience. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect and very clean. I loved the apartment and the harmony it had and the layout. perfect to spend a few days there.

The apartment was perfect for a stay with our 8 month old, had 2 bedrooms, high chair and even some toys which he enjoyed! The pools were lovely, and the ability to walk to lots of places to eat and drink was great, also lots of takeaway options on Uber eats! Made our evenings nice and relaxing after the baby went to bed. You had to take a boat to the beach, which with a baby was a bit daunting, but when you got there it was very well set up with a board walk for the buggy the whole way to the sun beds basically The stairs down to the apartment were a bit annoying with the buggy, would have been handy to exit the apartments at the gate we could clearly see at the end of our row of apartments, but not too much of a problem Nice to have the place cleaned half way through, kitchen well stocked with everything you’d want

Our stay in Tavira was truly unforgettable—this was easily one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The home has been thoughtfully updated while keeping the charm and character of the original house. We used four of the bedrooms, and there were several others that appeared to still be in progress, but the space we had was more than enough for our group. The kitchen was a dream—fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and all the utensils and cookware were just beautiful. One of our favorite memories was cooking dinner and enjoying it al fresco on the rooftop terrace, with a view of the town and the night market in the distance. The location was perfect—close enough to walk easily into town and explore, but still peaceful and quiet. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!
