The Nest is more than just a beautiful place to stay - it’s an experience. Wendy and Fletch have created such a special place here and we absolutely loved our stay. The Nest itself is cosy, comfortable and really well equipped (super comfy bed!) - then there are all the extras, from the freshly baked bread to the welcome coffee to the eel feeding, forest walk, bike ride, outdoor fireplace and outdoor bath. We spent most of our two day stay on site because there was so much to do in such a gorgeous setting. Wendy and Fletch clearly care a lot about giving their guests the best possible experience - we especially loved our chats with Wendy and her tips (local and beyond). Highly recommend and would love to come back

Really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed how tranquil it was out in the country, and we even got a clear night to see the amazing stars! We didn't use the fireplace as there wasn't a fire guard and we had our one year old with us who likes to run head first into everything, but the beds were super warm and thankfully it didn't get too cold during our stay. Definitely planning on coming back again soon :)

Such a great cosy spot in beautiful Ōkārito. We loved the outdoor bath under the stars and sitting outside on the deck. Really recommend hiring kayaks from next door too! We’d love to come back soon.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything in the cottage was nice and clean, and warm. The kitchen was clean, the linen good quality, and pillows really were comfortable. We felt right at home. It’s a quiet spot, and the beach is a very short drive away, we managed to take in a beautiful West coast sunset, while misty drizzle shrouded the hills and gave us a vibrant rainbow all at the same time. Priceless
