This is my second time staying at Valery’s. It’s an absolute gem! The closeness to the local wildlife while still being close to the city is priceless! I would 1 million times recommend Valery’s place. I hope to be back soon.

Jamie’s place is a paradise for people who wants to escape the craziness of city life. It’s in the middle of the nature everyday you wake up by the sounds of the bird and animals yet still have all the comfort of hot showers, faster internet which is perfect for digital nomads. The host family lived near is really helpful and friendly, Miluska cooks very delicious meals too

La experiencia en la casa fue muy buena! Cristobal y Verónica fueron muy amables y nos proporcionaron todo lo necesario para poder conocer Puerto Maldonado. La cabaña es muy acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario y esta cerca a la zona turística por donde está el restaurante los pajaritos y el centro de aventuras el tronco donde hicimos tirolesa y hay un puente colgante. Realmente la pasamos muy bien en familia y nos llevamos un bonito recuerdo.

Elmer's place is about 15 minutes from Puerto Maldonado by car, in the middle of the jungle and very private. Elmer is very friendly and helpful. He makes you feel right at home and lives on the property. It's very private and quiet...a real getaway. Tours of the river and rainforest are very accessible. Elmer's wife cooks great meals, too!

La cabaña de don Coco es muy bonita agradable tiene todo lo necesario para que pases unas vacaciones inolvidables. El contacto con la naturaleza, el río Tambopata, el trinar de las aves, las frutas, flores de la casa te terminas enamorando del lugar. A mi familia le encantó pasar esos días en la cabaña. y la atención de waldir siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros y la amabilidad de don coco 10/10. recomendado 💯%. gracias desde Arequipa

Wir wurden von der Familie freundlich empfangen und das Zimmer hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Umgebung am Rand des Regenwalds ist traumhaft schön und wor wurden während eines heftigen Regenschauers bestens unterhalten und über die Umgebung informiert. Zwar ist man etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, dieses war jedoch auch in 5-10 lin mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
