The first time in Marina di Camerota I discovered a very nice village full of life, the sea was a very pleasant surprise, crystal clear water and services for all kinds of needs. Francesca's fisherman's den is a strategic place, close to the center and the main activities, the beach is easily reachable on foot and is also a great starting point for visiting the other nearby beaches and villages. The house is great for two people, there are all the comforts, I found it very clean and Francesca is a very kind and helpful person.

Beautiful and functional apartment, tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts. Alessandra was very helpful and timely in communications. The plus was Alessandra's father, with his warm hospitality: he made us feel really at home, among friends. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Mr. Bruno was an extremely fair and clear person in the directions. The house is extremely cozy and right on the sea. Extremely recommended

Corrado and his family were very kind, helpful and gave us a warm welcome into the flat. The flat was very well equipped with a great view towards the sea. We enjoyed our stay there.

Giancarmine is a great host! The view was amazing and scario is a very lovely place with graet beaches and clear water! The tiny stone house is created by himself and with some cool details like the light Installation! We loved the time in scario! Grazie

Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Great location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Super Recommended.

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Venezuela. Sandro checked on us during our stay and also left us a welcome basket which was very kind and appreciated. From the covered balcony you can see the mountains with an unobstructed view of the Maratea Christ Redeemer Statue and on the other side are beautiful sea views. The sunsets are spectacular! The villa is within walking distance (280 m) to a great little coffee shop, Amadeus Lounge Bar, where we had an aperitif and cappuccino. The road is busy but we were not too bothered by it. The house is large and comfortably appointed. We did go to Fiumicello Beach and the Marina but unlike other reviewers we would not recommend walking to either. The roads are very narrow, without sidewalks and are quite busy with traffic and busses. Both had free parking available. We would definitely stay there again.

Fabio was such a fabulous and responsive host during our stay at Sound of the Sea! The location was very walkable and while many places are closed in September, there was still plenty to do. The area felt very safe and perfect for families with young children. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy for the most part, just a little confusion which key and button went to what door, but we figured it out pretty quickly and with Fabio’s help. We look forward to future stays at Sound of the Sea!

Two days of absolute relaxation with the family We spent two days surrounded by greenery and the beauty of this villa with a breathtaking sea view, corners of the house to fully enjoy every relaxation. Perfect location, the house is located a few steps from the port of Scario. The house consists of a bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed, in the living room/kitchen instead there is a sofa bed. Access is from the living room/kitchen equipped with a glass door that enters the light inside. The house is located on a road level a few steps from the village square. From the inside you can hear some noise created by the passage of cars. Fully furnished house, with induction stove, set of towels and sheets included.

Marco is a really impeccable host, he immediately welcomed us making us feel at home. Perfectly matching the description, very clean and extremely functional equipped with all comforts, a terrace equipped with a really beautiful shower where you can relax in the evening or sunbathe during the day. Covered car parking and beach within 5 minutes walking distance as well as supermarket and bar. Since we stayed for two weeks Marco offered us a half-day boat ride, even here we really felt as if we were spending a day with friends, Marco and Margherita made themselves available to satisfy all our daughter's requests and to let us visit all the coves nearby. What can I say, a wonderful stay that will surely be repeated in the future.

The place is really right on the sea very close to a small quiet beach. A path leads to other large beaches with loungers and aprons. We enjoyed the tranquility here with very nice Italian neighbors and would come back again!

We spent a week in August at Villa Florio in Maratea and were extremely satisfied. The house is very nice, well divided and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The outdoor spaces are immersed in a well-kept green area, with a beautiful holm oak in the south. Here, you can enjoy breakfast from the sea or relax in the sun in total privacy, all accompanied by an enchanting view of the Gulf of Policastro and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Villa Florio not only for the beauty and uniqueness of the place, but also for the kindness and hospitality of Maria Teresa and her partner, who made our stay even more special. Maratea and Basilicata are lovely places, and this villa is the perfect starting point to discover them.

The property is very clean, well furnished and in a very convenient location, especially for those who want to leave the car and get around on foot. The parking ticket is a real convenience. The lady was very kind and helpful. We'll be back.

The house is very charming in the Maratea port. We had a lovely few days exploring the area the beaches really are amazing! The hosts were really welcoming and helpful as well! Would love to come back!

Rossella, the host, is very kind and always available. The apartment is very nice, much more than in photos. The area is beautiful, quiet and perfect for walking in the harbor area, close to many restaurants. I highly recommend having a car or other means of transportation just to enjoy the area due to lack of public transportation outside of July and August.

The stay exceeded all expectations. The location couldn’t have been more ideal and being just a few steps from the beach was amazing. This is the spot to choose if you are looking to get away from other foreign tourists and was very authentic (I think we were the only foreign tourists in town). The hosts were very welcoming and responsive (assisted with coordinating transport, provided recommendations and went above and beyond). Villammare is a short walk up the road and had great pizzerias and gelaterias. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary cookware, in case you want to stay-in for the night. The semi-private beach was shared with several other seaside residences, mostly families, making it a calm and relaxing place to hang out and swim.
