Accommodation equipped with every comfort. Beautiful view of Scario and the sea. Within walking distance of the supermarket, the waterfront and the historic center of the city. You get around on foot. Very kind host. Also within walking distance of the start of the various paths to reach some coves and the port.

The first time in Marina di Camerota I discovered a very nice village full of life, the sea was a very pleasant surprise, crystal clear water and services for all kinds of needs. Francesca's fisherman's den is a strategic place, close to the center and the main activities, the beach is easily reachable on foot and is also a great starting point for visiting the other nearby beaches and villages. The house is great for two people, there are all the comforts, I found it very clean and Francesca is a very kind and helpful person.

Stunning apartment on the seafront with sunrise to sunset spectacular views. The property is bang in the middle of the front, amenities, bars and restaurants. We can walk everywhere in this heavenly place that is Villammari and this architect designed apartment is very much in keeping with that beauty. The host is extremely helpful and can't do enough for you. It is also helpful that he speaks several languages because we are only beginners in Italian language. We cannot recmmend this prorty highly enough. OTIMO!

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Venezuela. Sandro checked on us during our stay and also left us a welcome basket which was very kind and appreciated. From the covered balcony you can see the mountains with an unobstructed view of the Maratea Christ Redeemer Statue and on the other side are beautiful sea views. The sunsets are spectacular! The villa is within walking distance (280 m) to a great little coffee shop, Amadeus Lounge Bar, where we had an aperitif and cappuccino. The road is busy but we were not too bothered by it. The house is large and comfortably appointed. We did go to Fiumicello Beach and the Marina but unlike other reviewers we would not recommend walking to either. The roads are very narrow, without sidewalks and are quite busy with traffic and busses. Both had free parking available. We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean house in every room. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine. New dishes and pots. Each room has its own air conditioner and there is also a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and the mountains that surround Sapri. Restaurants and shops nearby and the sea can be reached in two minutes (and even less) on foot. Anna and Riccardo are two very kind and helpful hosts. It was a pleasure to stay with them and we will return as soon as possible.

Fabio was such a fabulous and responsive host during our stay at Sound of the Sea! The location was very walkable and while many places are closed in September, there was still plenty to do. The area felt very safe and perfect for families with young children. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy for the most part, just a little confusion which key and button went to what door, but we figured it out pretty quickly and with Fabio’s help. We look forward to future stays at Sound of the Sea!

The accommodation is as described, spacious and comfortable (we were two couples of adults) as well as equipped with everything you may need during the stay. The highlight is undoubtedly the terrace, from which you can enjoy a unique view. As for the location, I think it is among the best in the municipality of Maratea; on foot you can reach Fiumicello beach and some amenities such as a well-stocked supermarket, the butcher and a fishmonger. Taking the car you can reach all the Lucanian beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast and the center of Maratea in max 15 minutes. Finally, a thank you to Rosanna and her family for the kind welcome; within 10 days we had no reason to disturb her as everything was perfect but I am sure of her availability and prompt response in case of need.

Marco is a really impeccable host, he immediately welcomed us making us feel at home. Perfectly matching the description, very clean and extremely functional equipped with all comforts, a terrace equipped with a really beautiful shower where you can relax in the evening or sunbathe during the day. Covered car parking and beach within 5 minutes walking distance as well as supermarket and bar. Since we stayed for two weeks Marco offered us a half-day boat ride, even here we really felt as if we were spending a day with friends, Marco and Margherita made themselves available to satisfy all our daughter's requests and to let us visit all the coves nearby. What can I say, a wonderful stay that will surely be repeated in the future.

Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Great location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Super Recommended.

Fantastic time in a gorgeous house. Suited for one or two families, located right on the beach! Morning swims, then luxuriating in the tasteful garden or house. Well equipped, lacks nothing. And Villemare is charming, Cilento great to explore. We will be back.

The stay exceeded all expectations. The location couldn’t have been more ideal and being just a few steps from the beach was amazing. This is the spot to choose if you are looking to get away from other foreign tourists and was very authentic (I think we were the only foreign tourists in town). The hosts were very welcoming and responsive (assisted with coordinating transport, provided recommendations and went above and beyond). Villammare is a short walk up the road and had great pizzerias and gelaterias. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary cookware, in case you want to stay-in for the night. The semi-private beach was shared with several other seaside residences, mostly families, making it a calm and relaxing place to hang out and swim.

Alessandra and her family were very helpful and welcoming! The apartment was very clean and cute. We enjoyed our stay and had the best time in this beautiful place. It was such a warming place and the backyard space was just beautiful. The town was so quaint and we were just a short walk to the beach which was awesome. Overall great place and nice little town😊

Giovanni is a great host, any problem immediately ready to solve the house. Everything was working. My dog outside was a great way to go to the sea, but with the car for 5 minutes and you are on the beach, however, a nice experience without problems and everything as described, a warm greeting to Giovanni

Corrado and his family were very kind, helpful and gave us a warm welcome into the flat. The flat was very well equipped with a great view towards the sea. We enjoyed our stay there.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a lovely village right next to the national park. The host is super kind. Street parking was easy and free. I enjoyed very much my stay, and would go back!

Apartment in the center, a few minutes from the sea, equipped with all the essential amenities, excellent cleanliness on our arrival and Mrs. Regina was very kind to welcome us and help us find parking.

The view from all windows was stunning. The apartment was very clean. The balcony was a show stopper - sitting out overlooking the Sea was drop dead gorgeous. Though the road could be a little noisy at times with cars or pedestrians, it didn't impede our trip at all. The view was almost surreal. The bed was very firm (typical for an Italian home, we've found). The kitchen could've done with a few essentials - maybe some salt, sugar, coffee etc. But, regardless it was all fabulous and wouldn't stop us from coming back. Elena was an absolute delight, there if you need her, but always allowing for her guests privacy. We Loved the space, loved Elena and can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Sandro's place without a car and everything worked wonderfully. There is a very nice beach, which can be reached after a 40-minute walk with fabulous views. There it is beautiful, natural. Alternatively, there is the much closer city beach. Approx. 8 minutes walking distance there is a supermarket which is very well equipped. In Scario there is no mass tourism making it very beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Sandro's place, we enjoyed it a lot.
