Farmstay vacation rentals in Province of Mantua

A secret tip for individual travelers, far away from hustle and bustle and mass tourism, with a feeling of authentic Italian life with a very friendly host family. We had the apartment in the former stable , super equipped, clean, great large bathroom, a little dark, but we had a terrace facing the garden, which is very lovingly and well maintained. Mention- and extremely worth seeing, of course, the nearby and historic town of Mantua, a small Florence. The city lives not only by tourists, including locals. We were allowed to experience Sunday afternoon, as young and old meet, wonderfully vibrant.

Very good stay at Alberto and Christina's. The room was perfect with air conditioning and good bedding. We had a small refrigerator available but fortunately the 4 bedrooms were not occupied otherwise it would have been a little tight. We didn't have time to test the pool but it looked great. Private parking was very convenient and we were only 10 minutes from Verona (large free parking at the entrance to the city). We were also able to visit Sirmione early in the morning in 35 minutes. I regret not being able to interact more with Christina, who was charming and dynamic, but this was my fault because I am not good at foreign languages. We wish them all the best.

Truly a wonderful place!! It was better than expectet! We loved the story of this house, the park was huuuge & the neighbours which grown up here were so kindly. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Valeria is a wonderful host. very kind and caring, His b&b surrounded by greenery is clean, tidy, and full of details that show how much care he takes. The breakfast was a surprise, all very good things handmade by Valeria starting with bread, the fruit jams cut from the trees on the ground, the exquisite cakes. In short, really recommended for a relaxing stay or if you want to visit Mantua as we did.

The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything, including clean and fragrant linens for the house. Quite good location, very quiet, the only small sin is the constant smell of manure due to the probably presence of a farm (which is still not too annoying)

We had an amazing time in a picturesque setting right by Lake Garda! Lovely, calm setting and Walkiria and her family communicated with us wonderfully each step of the way and even offered use of their pool for our children! The house is amazing and photos don’t do it justice! Clear instructions were given on checkin so we knew where to find things. Highly recommend and we’ll be back next time we are in the neighbourhood! We also enjoyed a great meal in the local restaurant just down the road if you’re looking for local Italian and not touristy stuff!

It was a great experience to be here. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and showed us everything in peace. The breakfast was fantastic, and just for us a lot of extra vegan offerings on request. We would recommend it to anyone and would be happy to come back. The animals were also great and the kids jumped right into the pool.

We stayed at the "Torre di paglia" on the occasion of the Fieracavalli di Verona, the location is convenient because in less than 20 minutes you get to the city, the place is very quiet, surrounded by greenery and with many animals... Claudia and her husband are wonderful people, they prepared a hearty breakfast for us even with some polenta tasting on the occasion of the Vigasio festival! What can I say... highly recommended!

We spent 4 wonderful days at Mela’s stunning villa – two families, 11 people including children – and everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, Mela welcomed us warmly and showed us into a luxurious and beautifully designed villa. The photos online don’t do justice to how elegant and spacious the place truly is. The villa is very large, fully equipped, and surrounded by a lovely garden with a gorgeous pool – the kids (and the adults!) didn’t want to leave it. The location is ideal – about 20 minutes from Gardaland and close to many attractions in the Lake Garda area, yet peaceful and relaxing after a busy day of exploring. Mela was a wonderful host – kind, responsive, and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and unforgettable stay in northern Italy!

Nice first experience to stay in an agriturismo. You are sitting on Filippo's rice farm and can take a look behind the scenes. Filippo is really approachable and helpful. Our apartment had all the necessary amenities for the 3 nights we stayed there. The pool was completely fine and set in a lovely garden. A pleasant experience for us to do agriturismo's a little more often.

Great stay at a very quiet location within short drive to local attractions. Great pool and hot tub and good coffee machine at the reception area. Alessandro was a great host. Only downside is that we took an apartment with 3 bedrooms. The king size bed was is a room without an en-suit shower while the room that had, had two single beds. But over all we really enjoyed our stay.
