We had such a lovely weekend at the cottage at Sandstone House. Stunning views and impressive grounds. The cottage is spacious and well appointed and had high quality finishes. Clive and Owen were both friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay in Franschhoek.

This place has an incredible vibe – the interior design, thoughtful decor, and attention to the smallest details make it feel like a true home away from home. It’s beautifully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Honestly, the apartment is even better than in the pictures – hard to believe, but true! The location in Paarl is perfect: safe, central, and just a short walk to the city’s best restaurant (Noop!). It’s also an ideal base to explore the Winelands – Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek – all within easy reach. Communication was excellent, and check-in was flexible and smooth. Perfect for families with small kids – the children’s room is full of lovely toys, and our little one was thrilled. We had an amazing time and would return in a heartbeat! Thx for everything!

Elzanne‘s place was perfect for our family of three visiting Cape Town for 5 nights. Our 2 year old enjoyed playing with all the toys available, plus the trampoline and swing set outside. We enjoyed the bbq grill and eating dinner outside most nights with a view of the sunset and pool. The property is very quiet and beds very comfortable. There‘s a huge fridge and freezer and everything you need to cook meals. The house is also beautifully designed so it was a very pleasant stay for us!

An amazing stay in an amazing house. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the village and also very handy for local supermarket, wine tram and even a couple of vineyards. The house has everything you needed for a great stay with great plunge pool and sun deck area. Also well looked after by Eden and the other staff. Will definitely look to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s gorgeous place and will definitely stay again ..Sally and Jeans’ collection of vinyl records was just awesome ..wonderful memories and so much fun playing records again in this digital age!!

What an absolute GEM! I was blown away and pleasantly surprised by Agatha's place. Having stayed in 100+ AirBnB's, this was my first time in a fully kitted Smart House. Agatha has gone above and beyond to ensure maximum convenience and leisure for her guests and their children. The house was sparkling clean and chic, with the awesome feature of being voice-controlled too! Great value for money, exceptional amenities and Agatha is truly the phenomenal "host with the most"! Please do yourself the biggest favor and stay in Agatha's place, I cannot recommend it enough!

We stayed there for a week. Great hosts, very accommodating. My family had a great time. we felt safe. also felt like home with the parents checking on us- was great. Everything we needed was on site, so very homely. will be back soon. Great host- 10/10. highly recommend this venue.

A Slice of Paradise. Wow! What an unforgettable stay! Nestled on top of a hill, this home offers breathtaking views of the valley that instantly set the tone for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice — the house is even more beautiful in person! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe. The immaculate gardens, tranquil water feature, and that perfect sunset-facing view created the most magical setting. The house itself was incredibly well-stocked with thoughtful touches throughout. Whether it was cozying up by the indoor fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub, or cooling off in the sparkling pools, every detail was designed with comfort and peace in mind. The host went above and beyond — kind, attentive, and left the most heartwarming welcome gifts. (Those delicious rusks were a morning must-have!) We’re already checking our calendars to book our next stay. This truly is a hidden gem!

Windmill Cottage is a fabulous place to retreat from the craziness of everyday living. A really superb spot. Fabulously decorated, beautiful charm, great bird watching, amazing star gazing and really well looked after and considered spot. Our family had a blast here.

Absolutely adored Gill’s glorious home and garden. Couldn’t have wished for more and already keen to return. The house is perfectly located within walking distance of all beautiful Franschhoek has to offer yet set in a peaceful location just off the main strip. Gill was super responsive and helpful, excellent host. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

Loved how quiet and clean the place was. The space is absolutely stunning, the hosts provided different ways for us to entertain ourselves between all the books, games and TV. They kept communication open and kept checking in on us so that put me and my family at ease, felt like being at home . Overall a wonderful experience. I will be visiting the space again when the opportunity presents itself.

Jo-Mare was an excellent host - and gave the kids some bird feed for the ducks when we arrived which was lovely after a long journey. Andre also lit the fire inside and in the hottub! The house was beautiful. Very large, plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids. The beds were comfy, and there was literally everything you could need. The hottub was a lovely extra when the kids were in bed!

Stunning house and gardens - we felt extremely lucky to have found the house. You can stroll right into town or to La Cotte for a perfect breakfast. We were initially worried about security but the alarms have a 24hr armed response team which made us feel at ease. If you have found this place on Airbnb - book it, it is paradise.

Fantastic place to stay! The house is so stylish, beautiful and comfortable. The colors, the details of the interior, absolutely stunning. The garden is secluded and has both sun and shade. Our 3 year old son was so happy with the games collection, including paw patrol memory. Location is excellent, easy parking, quiet neighborhood, we felt safe. You can easily walk to a lovely bakery/coffee place (Motherdough) and it is also possible to walk to the town center. Host guidebook in the house contains wonderful advice on places to visit and where to eat. We enjoyed our visit to Boschendal and Babylonstoren. Eveline is a great host, easy communication, friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here!

WONDERFUL STAY! Hilton is a friendly and accommodating host. The cottage is exactly what we needed. Very well furnished and gives you a homely feeling. We will for sure be back to stay there when we are in the area.

What a wonderful weekend. It was a hot weekend in Robertson but the Halfway House always felt cool inside. We really enjoyed staying there, everything was perfect. My husband could enjoy playing golf and I enjoyed my time relaxing next to the pool. Will definitely go back again!

Danielle’s home, and her communication were fantastic! The house was spotless and garden/pool well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. We love to cook and eat in, and the house had everything we could think of! It is truly a wonderful place. We particularly liked that we could walk to the local shopping center for groceries or a coffee. I highly recommend Danielle and her home and we cannot wait to return!
